General Help

Large delays in posts showing up.  Song threads are unplayable when this happens.  What’s going on?

Is anybody else experiencing false readings on TrueLane? I keep getting hard breaking reading and having points deducted when this happens. I can drive 50-100 trip without any driving issues and not receive any added points but if the app thinks I’m hard breaking it deduct 2-3 points off my score. Is this app rigged??? I think it is.

I just started using the SafeTrip app today. I got low scores for “hard braking” as well as rapid acceleration. I have an EV, so braking is mostly done using one-pedal “regen”. I do not feel that I had to actually brake hard on my trips, despite the description of what the app considers “hard braking”. I think it is not taking this features of EVs into account.Also, rapid acceleration is actually a safety feature. To be be able to merge safely, rapidly accelerating into the next lane helps prevent other cars from having to react to a slow merge. Again this is more of an EV issue because of their quick acceleration ability.

I received the free gift  portable power battery and was able to charge it with the included charging cable. There is no way to use it to charge either a iPhone or android phone with the 2 other adapters included. The instructions are garbage... Neither of the included phone adapters will fit into the power outlet on the side of the unit also used for charging it. The adapters also will not work with any of my phone cables either for the iPhone 12 or iPhone 16 Pro. The only cable that will fit into the female side port is the included cable with the USB end. The included adapters will not fit anything. It there is a secret to making this work someone please send me the instructions otherwise this is just another useless "gift". 

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed that when I had over 5,000 points available, not one gift card redemption was available.   Now I check my account, with a zero balance, there are target, Walmart, etc.  I think it is a scam to get you to sign up spend hours doing all the activities with no way to redeem your points.  I think it’s unacceptable, and again it is all a scam.  As I recall, not even the product discounts or coupons worked either.  It is a shame because it was never like this before.  AARP needs to make me whole on my points that were completely worthless when they were available because having them now would be well worth my five year subscription.  

This is the second quiz I have taken for 450 points and they were not awarded. I took the quiz on stress today, 10/10. The system said 450 points. I clicked the arrow for more quiz’s and it gave along error message that the link was not connected to anything

I tryed to do the September extra credit rewards to get the Walmart reward. I looked at all 3 videos but did not recieve and points or any thing on the page about rewards.

Hello, I’m quite new to using the AARP site. While exploring the site, a message popped up asking if I want to redeem my points, and it listed 2 options: 1. redeem 75 points for $25 Walmart gift card, or 2. redeem 75 points for $25 Amazon gift card. I had closed that message as I was exploring the site further, but now I cannot find that option in the redeem rewards section. I do not want to enter any sweepstakes or gamble for a chance to win a gift card, I just would like to know how I can redeem a gift card using my points and would there be a limit to how many cards I can redeem. Thanks.

I was scheduled for Ai training but never received the zoom link where is it?

I had over 4,000 points in my account and now I have 105. So I don't know why they fell off or where they're at but I would like to have them back please.

My “Personalized Video” has incorrect info. Now this is not a big issue by itself, but it now adds to a growing LIST of issues with the web site/information.  In this instance, the video starts by thanking me for being a member for 6 years, when the splash screen still displayed behind clearly indicates that I’ve been a member since year 2000. (FYI: Separately I’ve posted about being unable to opt out of third-party sharing, due to incorrect email format, which it is not.  Also, while I can earn rewards, I cannot redeem them for Sweeps, or Instant Wins resulting in over 50,000 points expiring since April). 

When I submit my information to opt out of third-party sharing, it requires my email address along with other basic information but then REJECTS my email address - due to an incorrect email format. It is NOT incorrect. It is my email address that I’ve had for ~20 years. 

When will the Sept/Oct Bulletin, and the Oct. Magazine be mailed? I have not received either as yet. 

My husband and I had used the AARP travel center several years ago for a complicated 3 destination trip. We had a fantastic service rep on the phone who found us great deals on flights and hotels, and clearly explained all aspects. Tonight we tried to book a 1destination trip needing flight, hotel, and car it took over 3 hours, multiple website fails, multiple phone calls to representatives who were unable to do much in the way actual assistance. After the 2nd fail we called and the rep who said the system was undergoing maintenance, this was around 5:30 PST (why didn’t the website have a notice about this vs letting customers waste their time??), and that he couldn’t assist us either. 45 min later, tried again, at that point the hotel was $200 more. Husband tried again and it seemed successful only to find out after purchase that the flight was NOT the one he’d chosen. He’d been trying to book a non-stop Delta flight leaving at early in the morning, looking at the itinerary it said we

In my account detail, my husband’s email is incorrect.  All of the other areas have edit buttons, but not this optional one, about another person be added as a member.  How do I correct this?

I hate the new Mahjong. The symbols are difficult to read and match. Please return to the old one. I have had to stop playing it because it is too hard to read. Thank you.Ihla  

Every time I try to use REWARDS to get gift cards, I’m an either kicked off the site or transferred to a different are of the site to PURCHASE cards with my personal funds.   I’m feeling like this is all a scam.  If the only thing you can do with rewards is “spin” only to be told you didn’t win anything, what is the point of rewards if only to get you to a page to buy gift cards instead?  I’m concerned that once I hit “create” this question will either disappear or show only AARP generated answers. Thank you.

Just curious about my free gifts that i have'nt recieved yet for joining AARP..

I took the quiz 450 points not received for Medicare Open Enrollment. System says I did but no points and I  cannot get the $5 gc for Omaha Steaks. 

I don’t care if aarp bans me it’s not worth it. I got the points I needed for a gift card and I can’t redeem it because I’ve read apparently they lock it for suspicious activity like accumulating too many points too fast but their point limit is 7,500 so it doesn’t make sense for them to lock my account to prevent me from redeeming points. Aarp is a scam and won’t be renewing my account and will make sure others know about it if they want to make an account. It’s a waste of time and their customer service is slow and they don’t care so I don’t care either. Delete

I keep getting the "Unable to process your redemption request" error when I try to redeem my points. It has been just for today. I’ve tried with Chrome and Edge - no luck - well , bad luck haa haa I need a shoulder shrug emoji here.Thanks for reading this

All of a sudden I have been getting vulgar titled emails. I have been sending ATT block messages and started getting more. I have not history on my computer or phone for any browsing that is even remotely connected to sex. I am concerned that it is a scam avenue. It also is adding up to alot of time daily blocking these.Amy suggestions as to what agency I can contact that is trust worthy to help?  I have been an ATt customer for years, but I am thinking of switching to get away from the slutting emails.
