Anyone have the lastest AARP magazines who can look up an advertisement for GLOVES for Parkinson tremors?  It wasn’t long ago - last month or two.  The ad was around page 40 - 50.  I’ve misplaced it and would like to check out the product. Thank you in advance

I would like to change the name on my second membership person. How how do I go about that?

Hi everyone, I'm new here. My clinic notes are always in kg, but my family still talks in stone and friends in the US talk in pounds, so I get confused following my weight week to week. When I saw a 10 kg loss I had to work out that's about 22 pounds, or 1 stone 8. How do you keep track of yours? Do you stick to one unit, or just go by how you feel?

OkayThis is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this. You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - AerosmithYou look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easySo lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.Diane

When I click on the link to the free entry for the Instant Wins, I get 404 Not Found.  This happens with all of the active Instant Wins.  I get this on my PC and on the AARP app on my phone.  Please fix this.

How about another game? We can even use the songs we use in the ABC's game.  The last letter of the last posted song will be the first letter of the next song. Reply to the start post of the thread.   If someone posts the same " first lettered" song at the same time, no problem.   No need to correct anyone.   Simply, use whatever the last letter of that posted song to post your title. Have Fun!

Not sure if this has been done before (got tired of searching after 20 or 30 pages and search function doesn't always provide expected results).  List a song title with it's group/singer alphabetically. A - Z and start over. I think there should be a song somewhere for every letter. Any year is acceptable. Double postings are ok. Starting off with:    A Hard Day's Night  - Beatles   For the letters Q, X and Z:   When those letters come up, you may skip them and post the next letter. Or, you can post a Q, X or Z and post the next letter if you wish. Either choice is fine.

Same guidelines as the original forum. The only difference is this is for oldies.I am setting the following rule:No songs beyond 1975 I'll start with a classic: When A Man Loves A Woman:  Percy Sledge I'm Amending this forum to allow the use of songs up to and including 1975

Mahjongg seems to be everywhere lately—from online games to local groups getting together to play. Are you already a fan, just learning, or wondering what all the excitement is about? This is such a great article, and I related so much to the writer rediscovering his old iPod—the click wheel for scrolling through songs, the wired headphones, no Bluetooth option. Finally, I felt like I wasn’t alone! You see, I still have my old, thin purple iPod that my partner continues to mock me for. 😂 It’s a piece of history—and memories—that I refuse to let go of.It holds more than 2,800 songs, some duds, but mostly songs that I grew up with in the early aughts, when downloading from the internet was a thing. I won’t even connect it to my laptop for fear I’ll somehow mess it all up!I still use it when I fly - this thing has never heard of airplane mode! 😂 The battery barely hangs on, especially if I start skipping songs, but then a song I haven’t heard in years rings through my ears and all those good music memories come rushing back! Anyone else still have their old iPod? Do you use it, or keep it for the memories?(And please ignore my shredded charger - do they even make thos

Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7, 2026.  Let's talk about it! If you're enrolled in Medicare, now is a good time to review your coverage and make sure it still meets your health care needs and budget for 2027.Even if you're happy with your current plan, it's worth taking another look. Costs, prescription drug coverage, provider networks, and benefits can change from year to year.Making Medicare decisions for ourselves is hard enough, and many of us who are caregiving are also helping loved one make their Medicare decisions (or making them for them if they are unable and we have the appropriate powers of attorney). It’s a lot of pressure! The good news is that AARP has GREAT resources to help you understand your options and make informed decisions. Not sure how to get started - check out these resources:Everything You Need to Know About Medicare Open Enrollment – Understand what you can change, important deadlines and what to consider when comparing plans. Not sure who to address this to,  (IT department)?        I noticed after the AARP app update, last week actually, the ability to respond in discussions didn’t work on my iPad. It’s Readable, but not able to bring up the keyboard, no text box appears.  Only Cancel and send button.  Totally fine on a computer, totally fine on iPad using a browser, but it looks like the update to the app is where the glitch is for this.   — I’ve deleted and reinstalled app. Rebooted, etc.— I’ve updated the Apple IOS software to the newest version for my iPad which is a relatively new IPad with the latest version that was also released. I can deal with it for now, by using Browser on iPad, or using computer for community discussion participation, but wanted to let IT know about this.   Don’t really relish calling, and since I can use a workaround, I’m good.  But just a heads up to IT. Thanks!  👍

Can you explain what is happening to Xarelto coverage in 2027 Medicare? It seems that in my zip code =12589, Ulster County, only CVS is providing coverage for 20 mg.

I am having trouble opening this game even though my membership is good until 2027.  An issue with Splitwords?

As a long-time member, I am deeply concerned about AARP continuing to lend its trusted name and endorsement to UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Medicare Advantage plans.Over the recent enrollment cycles, many of us have watched these plans become significantly more expensive while simultaneously reducing vital coverages. When a plan carries the AARP logo, members expect a higher standard of advocacy, affordability, and care. Instead, we are facing higher out-of-pocket costs and shrinking provider networks.AARP’s brand should stand for member protection, not corporate licensing profit at the expense of seniors on fixed incomes. I have already contacted customer service directly to register my complaint, but I want to know how many other community members are experiencing these same premium hikes and coverage cuts.It is time for AARP to hold UnitedHealthcare accountable to the seniors who trust this organization.

We have something extra to be thankful for this November! Starting today, November 4, Thanksgiving Mahjongg will be open to all game players, whether you're a member or not.The game puts a seasonal spin on classic Mahjongg, with colorful tiles inspired by Thanksgiving, including turkeys, pumpkins and autumn leaves. Match identical tiles, clear the board and enjoy a little relaxing fun during the holiday season. We hope you'll join us and give Thanksgiving Mahjongg a try!

I redeemed my Albertson’s gift card that I got from the Daily Deal.  When I opened the card from my email that I got from AARP, the bar code/QR code was missing.  The card explicitly says that you must print and scan the bar code in order to use it.  I contacted AARP support and they told me that I can just use the code with the pin.  The cards says: “Redemption Steps: Customer must present eGift QR code payment either printed, or on mobile device to Checker as tender.”  Has anyone else had this issue?

when i called UHC because they did not list the price for next year, the supervisor me next year would be 191.50 ans i was currently paying 97.50. after the call i remembered that is not what i am paying. UHC is billing me 165.40. i canned a support supervisor again and he agreed i should be paying 97.50 and attempted to contact billing on my behalf. However there was a technical issue reaching billing. after logging into the medicare page it confirmed i should be paying 97.50. after reaching someone in billing they told me that the 165.40 was the correct amount i tried to get them to look further but they insisted i call Medicare. After calling medicare they could not understand why UHC would have me call medicare. Medicare after hearing the billing issue wanted to open and investigation. I am now awaiting their investigation.. With the price nearly doubling i decided to look at other options. It appears i and get similar coverage from Humana for about 50% less then UHC for close to th

[Tuesday 9/22/26 6:20am ET]I was in SHOCK yesterday when I happen to "glance" at the Kroger Gas Prices as I headed into store to get my Weekly Groceries.Lol, trying to HOLD ONTO the half tank I now have.Back BEFORE Gas prices started upward, I would Gas up once a month when I received my Monthly Retirement Social Security. Now I am staying home & driving ONLY as required (food, medical).Geez, are we stuck with NEVER seeing "lower" Gas prices? 🤔 I feel once the wars go away (if they ever), YES!!!I am SAVING as mentioned above by staying home but TOTALLY BORED & really struggling with having to do this in my Retirement. But have NO interest in getting behind on things like rent, electric, car insurance and so on.One TIP I read over the years is to COMBINE your errands when you can.Another TIP I saw online was to LIGHTEN your load. I was "guilty" of carrying around stuff in my trunk I had forgotten about. The ONLY time I ADD anything to my vehicle is during Winter. Got to be able t

WE can sometimes "predict" WHEN certain cards will be posted EACH MONTH = so we WAIT. 👍 Then we have cards that are posted ONLY "once" for EACH MONTH. Add the VERY POPULAR & sometimes hard to get Walmart & Amazon cards. Lol, of course like with life - nothing is guaranteed!!! 😂 (1) What are YOUR PLANS for the cards you want? Maybe a vacation? Or a night out? Or just regular grocery shopping? (2) Stop by when you can to SHARE with us & READ what OTHER members have posted. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE,Nicole 🤗💛
