I'm trying to get into my account at UnitedHealthcare. The site won't let me set up an account, although I have tried both my account number and my Medicare number, both of which are accurate. The error message reads: (Error Code:10002) User Not Eligible: We're having trouble finding you in our records. Please check that your entries match the information on your health insurance ID card. They DO. Now, why would I not be "eligible"? I have tried numerous times on three different browsers, with the same result. It appears other people are also experiencing problems. This is frustrating and unacceptable! Why is this happening?
I booked a hotel room through AARP's travel benefit powered by Expedia. It was at the Fairfield Inn in Crete, Nebraska. The price they showed was $111 per night which would have been $555 plus taxes. Instead I was charged 156 per night for a total of $887 with taxes. When I asked about my so called AARP discount I was informed it was only on select hotels and mine wasn't one!!! The Expedia employees were RUDE! When I complained to AARP the AARP employee had a I-don't-care-so-shut-up-and-go-away attitude. So I cancelled my membership. I had renewed for four years so I asked to be refunded the two unused years. However because my Bank had cancelled my old debit card and issued me a new one because they had detected it had been compromised after I renewed my membership. So I was told too bad you don't get your money back! THANKS ALOT! Yet another "Wolf in sheep's clothing" to rip-off the elderly while claiming they're
I do NOT recommend using AARP Travel Center powered by Expedia. I used AARP Travel Center powered by Expedia to book a flight, on American, and it was a very frustrating experience and I feel ripped off. I made the reservation and then received an email that the ticket could not be issued and I needed to rebook the flight. The airline would not help me, they referred me back to Expedia. Expedia said they could not help me, that they would send an email to the airline asking that they refund my money. Expedia estimated it would be 7-10 days to get my refund and suggested I book through them for a flight on another airline. What?!!!! Why would I give them money again after they already ripped me off.
AARP,You talk about senior citizen scams; but you have one example of sales misrepresentation on your own pages. Boost Oxygen had a BOGO for AARP members at $17.99 + shipping. The sales individual never did ask for my AARP member number (big miss on my part). After further investigation, I realized that local big box stores and pharmacies had the product for $8.99 which is even lower than the AARP so called 2 fer 1 price all in.And, now they have my email and phone to sell or harass further.Your members are due an apology.Robert PetersonMember #301 650 xxx x

I rented a car from Avis using an AARP discount and prepaid for the reservation. When I arrived at my destination, AVIS had NO cars available. After waiting an hour for a car, we gave up. We were told we had 24 hours from the time of our reservation to pick up a car. We paid Lyft $25 for a ride to hotel. The next morning, much less than 24 hours from our reservation time, we returned to the airport. Again, Avis had no cars. They told us it would be at least an hour before any were available. After waiting for a long time, I went over to the National counter, rented a car from them, and left. I then canceled my prepaid reservation. I received a notice that my $373 payment would not be refunded because I had not canceled it timely. I spent an inordinate time on the phone with customer service, and was finally told my payment would be refunded. I received an e-mail saying the refund to my credit card would be made within 3-5 working days. More time than that has passed and as of today
We have been with AARP for several years and decided a few years ago to switch auto insurance to Hartford because of their affiliation with AARP. For no apparent reason Hartford raised our auto insurance premium 45% this time around. Can AARP help us with this problem?
Worst ever,They want to block what I will say.. But for those who see this BEWARE and stay away..1.I had a travel credit for a cruise...2. Called before I left and they said it will be added before the cruise.3. Called again, was told it would be added within 2 days during the cruise4. Called on day 3 of the cruise and they said it could be added up to the last day.. BULL$HIT then what good is the onboard credit if its the LAST day of the cruise???5. Cruise ended still did not received onboard credit.6. Now they tell me they will refund it and it can take up to 10 days7. Cancelling membership with AARP Travel and for some reason I don't think this is over. But for meI will NEVER use AARP or Expedia again!!!!
Hello all,I currently have Capital One 360 savings and get 3.26% on my savings. Does anyone have the AARP/Barclay's savings account and do you get the 4% savings like I have recently heard they are offering? Or what is the best savings account that you currently have with the highest interest?
My wife and I went to Denny’s this morning for breakfast. The food and service is great. Everything was great except when I went to pay and showed my AARP Card I noticed that the bill wasn’t right. As you could see, Denny’s idea of 15% is $1.29. I’ll have to remember that when I tip next time. I brought this to the cashier’s attention but she couldn’t grasp what I was trying to say. I even used the calculator on my phone. Still nothing. Is anybody else having this problem or is it just this one Denny’s in Tracy CA.15% of $25.56 is $3.83 and not $1.29
Not sure if this is the right place to request this (the support options don't make much sense), but can AARP please bring back the British Airways benefit? I just renewed my membership primarily for the BA discount. There wasn't any advanced notice of it going away and it's disappeared in the past couple of days. Was probably one of the best benefits AARP offered. Feels disingenuous that it's unceremoniously gone away.
After clicking redeem, I get a pause of 15-20 seconds before the game starts. I have tried on multiple platforms and multiple browsers with the same results. Curious if anyone else has this issue.

We just received our AARP Supplement cost starting in June. Both of us will pay $63.01 more each month. That's a sudden monthly increase of $126.02 for our limited income. It doesn't seem right. Can someone help me to understand how this new influx of income for UnitedHealthcare will help us? TY!
still no reply from aarp with the "escalation" of my inquiry as to why I can redeem points as a new member but cannot redeem. Might be time to quit.
Our AARP United Health supplemental insurance premium has increased 44% since June of 2024. That is crazy. Are you doing anything to lobby congress about the cost of health insurance??????
First (and last) time using AARP travel to book anything. Booked a rental car for a trip to a military graduation in Virginia. Car company was Budget, and then the site offered rental protection which I accepted. AARP immediately charged me for the rental protection. Rental day comes and just before pick up time I get a call from Budget stating that they were all sold out and had no vehicles? Asked the agent what I was supposed to do and was told not their problem. Then the hassle of getting refunded the protection money already charged. Definitely would not recommend this service - book direct and don’t get screwed!
The article listing the grocery stores that give Senior discounts failed to mention Earth Fare…..on Mondays…

With regard to the list of supermarkets that give seniors discounts, please add Caputo's grocery stores in the Chicago area. Caputo's gives seniors 10% off on Thursdays.
I joined AARP to get a $40 yr discount on my Walmart plus membership. The link provided below does not work despite Walmart saying they would fix it. https://www.walmart.com/plus/partnerenroll/promocode?programName=aarp&programId=aarp Has anyone successfully received this discount and is there another way to get it?
If I subscribe to the AARP digital vault and I store my info. What happens when I pass away?Who is able to access that info? If both my spouse and I, heaven forbid, pass away at the same time, who can access that information?Thank youTed
I completely agree! I've been trying since 1/15/26 to get the health connect to work. They helped me, and got it to work for a few weeks. About 1 month later they sent me an email asking if everything is still working?n I checked my rewards and realized on 1/15 it had stopped working, yet my health connect shows it's connected. I responded to their email and sure enough, they won't respond back. I've called the rewards department several times and was told that Debbie, in escalation dept., is working on it. I've called her at 626-585-2631 on 2/18 at 3:39pm, 2/24 at 9:19am and today at 2:50pm and she doesn't answer or return calls. In the meantime, I sent a very long and detailed letter to Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan on 2/24 and I'm waiting to see what she does. I think it's terrible that members don't seem to be a priority for AARP, and I've been a member for 11 years. Are they too focused on finding new members? Keep posting things like th
I purchased gift cards using AARP rewards system. It's been more than 24 hours and I still have not received them. AARP Customer Service says it could take 5 to 10 business days for them to resolve the problem with their system. In the meantime, my money is tied up in ghost gift cards that I have not received and cannot use. Beware and don't buy gift cards until they fix their system.
