Question

timing of classes

Why do all the classes take place during working hours? And if they have to take place then, how can one access them after the fact? Are they recorded? Can they be streamed? If AARP is for people 50 and over, what makes you think the large majority of them are retired? Even though I am 73, I still work full-time. I am sure I am not alone in this.

I agree with you!  I’m 72 and fully retired but I find it frustrating that almost everything for seniors is scheduled before 6 PM (most seem to be scheduled 10 AM - 2 PM).  I’m not a morning person (I bit my tongue and worked the required hours before I retired) and prefer being active AFTER 4 PM.  I actually sleep until noon and do what I want after 2 PM (this includes medical appointments, volunteer activities, etc.).

It’s time the world wakes up and accept that seniors are part of the real world and not restricted to inconvenient schedules!

Check out What SummerOnTheWay1 says immediately below. While not a perfect answer, it does offer some exercise things that are on-demand.

Susan @SusanU57935 , have you checked out the AARP Rewards DAILY videos? They have ALOT of exercise ones 10 minutes to 13 minutes. Those we can view anytime.

Frankly, almost every exercise type class. Just today there was one on balancing which is coming up on a Tues 1-2pm and Weds 3-4pm. Why couldn’t they be recorded and be made available on demand?

Hi @SusanU57935

To help point you in the right direction, could you let us know which classes or programs you're referring to?
