It appears that the charging port was not populated. When you plug in the charging cord it does not appear to do anything and when you look at the receptacle it is only a plastic hole with no electrical contacts. Of course the charging light does not come on.
What has happened that I am being logged out a lot and have to refresh and login all the time now? I used to be able to log in and stay logged in until I cleared my cookies. Now I am logged out sometimes right in the middle of the day while I am earning points. Today for example, this will be the 2nd time I have had to log in for this session alone. What gives???
Hi, Below is a repost because my prior post seems to have magically disappeared without explanation even though someone gave it Kudos. I tried to chat with two of your agents today. The first session ended when I tried to go to another application and it said I left the chat. It took me less than 10 seconds and I didn't exit the chat. The transcript for the second session is as follows: 06/15/2026 03:20 PM GMT Automated Process AARPBOT AARPBOT You AARPBOT AARPBOT ➕ Hi, Troy 👋 I'm AARPBOT 🤖 an AI-powered virtual assistant that can help with some common questions. ¿Hablas español? Denneys restaurant is no longer honoring the 15% Aarp discount for orders on the value menu. As a matter of fact they are not honoring any discount coupons on the value menu items.I am done with Denneys! They sent me a 20% discount coupon in the app. I invited my 84 yr old mother to enjoy 2 super slams only to find out the discount would only be applied to the coffee.
I just received an email with the request - "One optional step many members forget is turning on Automatic Renewal. It helps make sure your membership renews on time, without extra reminders or last‑minute steps." -- My membership is currently active till 4/30/2033 - almost 7 years into the future. I had almost 2 years left when I accepted an offer to extend membership 5 years at a reduced rate, which I've done before. Why oh why do we need to be, harassed with renewal requests or requests that we take automatic renewal when we have a subscription far into the future, or even over a year into the future? That is extremely annoying to receive over and over again. We get barraged by too much email (not just AARP), without being reminded about a non-problem, right? And as a former programmer, it seems like some simple rules could be employed to not send renewal type notices to people with a subscription significantly into the future. --
In the past two years Lakeland Florida AARP group has had a free document shredding activity. So far this year we have not seen any shredding activity. As a retired AARP member, activities lake this help with the fixed income savings. We live in the Winter Haven Lakeland area, we hope this message will get to earther AARP group.
I've been taking the quizzes this morning and found 2 of them with incorrect info. You say the maximum someone will spend on prescriptions is $2000 under Part D, but this year it is $2100. It's June and it surprises me you haven't updated that answer. In the Internet quiz you say people need a modem, router and ?? (I forget the third thing. Lost it when I was finding where to bring this to your attention), but I have internet access now with simply a router that gets a Wi-Fi signal from AT&T. No Ethernet or modem.
I just opened a Barclays AARP "digital savings" account to avail myself of the promised 4% interest rate, but am very disappointed that their electronic banking capabilities are lacking some key features. 1. No Zelle access. (When I reached out to a Barclays agent to ask how to set up Zelle, she did not even know what that is.) 2. No Quicken access. I see from comments online that they once allowed Quicken to directly download transaction history, but changes to their login process broke that access and it's never been restored. They tell you to use the manual process instead (which is slow and klunky and less desirable than the direct download) but that process is also broken (you press a "download" button from the Barclays portal, which creates a file that can be imported manually into your Quicken account -- except that Barclays uses an outdated Quicken format that the current Quicken version can't import.) Since I use Zelle extensively to transfer funds quickly
I enjoy playing AARP games but anymore too much time is wasted on long playing advertisements. I do not like waiting 5, 10 or more minutes while an ad I am not interested in plays.. I used to be able to skip ad, but now the wheel that spins for free coins covers up the skip ad. Very disgusted.
I have tried many times to get Hartford Insurance to ship me the free gift that was promised for getting an auto quote but haven't been successful in getting them to meet their commitment. This is extremely disappointing. I am being given the runaround by their reps.
Many of the games are just not loading properly. They display oddly then when trying to start one, they just keep loading without starting. 1st clue: It does this in both Edge and Chrome2nd clue? When I adjust the viewing scale using the "shift" + "mouse wheel" Only the vertical scale changes, like it isn't linked to the horizontal scale. Someone has changed the program somewhere and perhaps this can help the debuggers find it.
How do I stop AARP from sending me junk mail to my US mail box 📪. they keep sending the insurance about home and auto and I just don't want it can anyone help?
I was reading your article about the Shingles vaccine. To begin with, I am NOT an anti vaccine person. I fully trust and believe in vaccines. I had the new vaccine in mid 2018. Both injections. I also had the old vaccine when I turned 50. So plenty of shots. While traveling last September I came down with Shingles on my face that went into my eye. It has been very bad. Since that time I have met two other people who also had the shot about the same time, both also got Shingles, one worse than me. The shot may be 97% efficient initially but I do not believe it is that efficient forever. I have friends who think they are safe because they got the shot eight years ago. I was told that new vaccines are not typically tested to see if a booster is required until ten years after the vaccine is released. I did see a study on line that said after four years the vaccine was less than 50% effective. This topic nee
FYI - I've seen at least two other postings on this topic... I get the "Staying Sharp" email newsletter, and sometimes hold them for a bit before clicking on the article links that I'm interested in. I don't know if that delay is the problem ... but it shouldn't be. I open the newsletter email, click the link, and get a page at this link: https://click.email.aarp.org/redirect_error.htmlthat has the message, "We cannot direct you to the requested web page at this time. Please try again." Even the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the email behaves the same way. This happens with NEARLY EVERY newsletter I get from AARP. I normally use the Brave browser, but I've tried it with Edge, also. I am currently trying to access a video in an email with the subject: "The Art of Managing your Emotions," and I guess the email is titled "Emotions Shape our Lives," but I can't even find it by searching the "Staying Sharp" content! Can someone pleas
when I sort by Instant Win/ Sweepstakes, only Instant Wins show up- no sweepstakes - usually there are 15 per month to enter- Is this a technical glitch? I also sorted by Point value ascending & descending and still see no sweepstakes listed
I have reported this issue several times over the last 2 months. It was escalated to technical support and I has directed to an ombudsman contact. This is still an issue and no one will respond including the ombudsman. As this is not corrected and I have had NO SUPPORT I have resigned from AARP after eight years. Got a refund..MAYBE when this is ever resolved I shall return. Why can't a huge organization with a technkical team fix this. I understand a lot of other member have the same issue.
I have had a problem with the staying sharp cognitive assessment testing since June 11, 2025 and have reported it a few times and was given a case number 19516542 but the issue still exist with NO progress. It will be 5 weeks tomorrow, which I am very surprised that nothing has been done. Is anyone experiencing issues? JC
I have not been receiving the AARP magazine, or Bulletin for a couple of months. Last issue I got of either was back in mid June. Post Office can't find any problem, and I am receiving all my other subscriptions. My membership info is correct (i.e. mailing address). Please advise.
Consumer Cellular takes advantage of elderly customers. My mom had to cancel service because she could no longer afford it and her landline works better for her. Her phone was disconnected immediately but they are still making her pay for service for 3 more weeks and said she will have two more bills to pay.
I received my home internet kit on 3/12 and activated it with autopay to get the max discounts with my dashboard saying $50 instead of the $39. I confirmed my initial order had the GETHOME promo code added and I did receive the equipment and first month at the discounted rate. I've wasted several hours trying to get the offshore reps to help by chat and phone and its impossible and have no clue on why it should be 39 a month. Anybody have any luck and what did you do?
You guys sure make it hard to get something fixed. Haven't been getting all points for 2 days some but not all-are you trying to get rid of me?
I manage multiple AARP accounts. One is for me and the other for my father who is 90+ and not computer savvy. AARP is now requiring a phone number for MFA (multi-factor authentication) which is a great idea, but it will not allow me to use the same phone number for both accounts. Can this be fixed?
How do I enable 2 factor or multifactor authentication [ Microsoft authenticator or Google authenticator ] on my AARP login. Currently it sends a text to my cell phone but I'm wondering if there is a way to setup one of the authenticator apps that has an ever changing one time code. Microsoft authenticator or Google authenticator is what I use for other accounts when available. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/about-microsoft-authenticator-9783c865-0308-42fb-a519-8cf666fe0accThanks for your assistance!
I want to cancel my membership. I tried calling the 1800 # and that's not even an option since you can't get past all the "special" offers. Can someone help me get this done?
