Can anyone refer a good long distance moving company?

I can't but think if you contact the nearest military installation, they'll know and recommend. Back in "the day" some of us worked for a team that moved military families and safe and secure. I would think the least they would do is recommend safe movers?

Where are you moving to/from? There are plenty of moving companies, but I always prefer one that has an office where I live and where I'm going. With that said, I've used three movers a few times for long distance moving and they were great to work with and fairly affordable compared to others. I think they operate throughout the US and have offices in most of the areas in which they work. Hope it all works out!

We had two wonderful moves done by Ace Relocation Systems.

When I moved cross-country last summer, I honestly dreaded the process of picking a long distance moving company because of all the sketchy stories out there. I ended up finding a team that was fully insured and transparent with their pricing, which made things way less stressful. What I liked most was being able to pick how much help I actually needed, so I didn’t have to pay for services I didn’t use.

If you want to see a bunch of options at once and compare quotes, I’ve checked out long distance moving companies through this site https://threemovers.com/. Super helpful for getting legit, background-checked movers and not having to worry about hidden fees.

I moved a few states over a couple years ago, and honestly, the logistics part was more complicated than I expected, especially since I needed to get my trailer across the country too. A regular moving company handled my household stuff, but dealing with the trailer was a separate process altogether. I had to research shipping a trailer since none of the usual moving services would include it, and there’s a whole world of specialty shippers out there, which turned out to be super helpful.
