AARP Help

Hi, I would like to know if the points from family member, (the secondary member I chose)  can be transferred to my account since I won't be renewing the paid membership and her acct will be deleted.  Its been two months and still she hasnt been able to redeem points, enter giveaways nor Instant wins.  Whats the point of having this acct if she can't use it despite her seeking help from AARP but to no avail.   So she has a point balance and I want to know if her point balance can be transferred to my acct.   

I found some golf buy one get one on the app and now for some reason I can't find them. 

When I got my supplement (G), it included Silver Sneakers.  Now I can't find Silver Sneakers.  Is there a substitute?  That was part of me decision on what plan to get.   And, the premium has gone up despite being told it would not.   ARRRGHEllen

 I initially submitted a request through the Speaker Bureau form and also contacted the local office back in March regarding a community event originally scheduled for May. Unfortunately, each person who responded initially stopped communicating and did not provide any follow-up information.We have since rescheduled the event and remain interested in featuring a speaker from AARP, as they are a valued corporate partner of our organization. Could you please direct me to someone who can assist with reserving a speaker for our upcoming virtual event?

How do I cancel my subscription and get a refund?

After searching this community, I see that Budget Car Rental has several complaints. Let me just recount ours. After booking and paying for a week's rental through the AARP emailed travel offer, I received an email confirmation of a hybrid Prius model sedan to be picked up from a nearby airport terminal. Thought all was in order.   My call to the office 3 hours prior to pickup revealed that Budget did not have a Prius anywhere in the area. Their replacement was a Chrysler Pacifica gas model -- not what anyone would call a "comparable car." Furthermore, each subsequent emailed confirmation was markedly higher in price than the original agreement. I cancelled the order and took my own car, which is exactly what I had wanted to avoid. My contention is that this is a classic bait-and-switch tactic, but Budget claims it isn't (?). They offered me three days of coupons, but how is this being held accountable? They blatantly did not honor a written contract. I'm also upset

 The same prescriptions seem to costing more. Up to 3 times more.  Delta Dental seems to be paying less for crowns and other procedures . Almost Twice less.  Why?

Good morning to all, just asking if people think it is a good move to move from Central NY to Nebraska?  I am 64 and my wife is 61.  Just want to get out of NY.  Just asking since I am sure there are people that either live in Nebraska or have lived there and I am just asking for their thoughts.Thank youRandy Spencer

So now, instead of getting 300 points for watching a video, AARP members are getting the same amount of points as a NON MEMBER (200 points)? WHAT'S THE USE OF BECOMING A MEMBER?! I also had to log in half a dozen times this morning! And every time, the AARP Memorial Day membership drive advertisement came up, blocking my screen! I'm seriously considering CANCELLING my membership and demanding a REFUND! This is the worst website I have ever seen!

This is to the AARP people that have executive power over whether or not Tournament Tuesday's continue. I just want to say I really hope that tournament Tuesday's continue. I saw that it said that they are taking a break in June. Tournament Tuesday has been something I look forward to. I really hope it does continue.

This seems to be a something in the "big beautiful bill" they just passed. Could be wrong but I would think AARP would be at the least talking about this.

I know this subject has been hashed and rehashed, in fact a few hours ago there was a post which I intended to reply to but it has conveniently disappeared from the 10 or so "current" items showing on the community page. I have been dealing with the page needing to be refreshed for several days.  I can access on ipad but on laptop I get the refresh page over and over.   I was able to get further by clearing my cookies.  Yes I know, it makes you have to reload favorite pages and I am sure there are work arounds.  But at least today I was able to once again earn points on laptop.   Not that the other usual glitches are absent.  The pages being hijacked to the Spanish page then no points.  The quiz not showing but the green check mark says something.  The black pages.  Yes I still get these and daily.  AARP since you say you are reading these comments you must know there is a problem that needs immediate attention.

Hello, the website shows new members can join for $9 per year with a 5-year commitment. Why is this offer not available for current members who are due for renewal? Are you more interested in attracting new members than retaining current / existing members? Thank you.

Date: 04/08/2025As an AARP Member and using The AARP/Hartford Auto and Renters Bundle Insurance. I am retired. Don`t drive much. The Premiums are out of reach for Many of us as the Premiums have gone Shy High. I have called The Hartford and get the answer the US has experienced Hurricane's/Storms Etc., but not in this State (Maryland). What are seniors to do. This was a great encouragement for me to join AARP in the first place. The Premiums were Ok and then Bam, Premiums $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Shy High. I thought AARP was to help us Seniors. It is not just me. I know other Seniors with AARP/The Hartford and they don`t drive very much as well. Can AARP Help Me and all the responsible Seniors in this area (Maryland). Perhaps you should think of another Auto, Renters, Home owners Insurance Company as most of us went along with AARP`s suggestion to go to The Hartford.       I became a member of AARP on Tuesday,10/1/24  and am emailing you to find out if you would be able to help me find a place to live or refer me to an organization that could help me find a place to live in the North Kansas City  or northern Kansas City Mo area. I am currently living on Social Security disability and thus would need a low priced place or a place that would charge a percentage of my income. I am trying to find work to supplement the income and may have found some opportunities. Having a bus stop nearby would be helpful. Thank You !     

Who can I contact regarding what appears to be a fraudulent damage claim by Avis emailed to me this morning? The sender appears to be vdcclaims@sedgwick.com. This has been reported in other media as a scam. I am concerned that they are targeting older people.

The  monthly premium for AARP UHC has gone up for more than other insurance providers.I would have thought that, since it has AARP attached to it, it would be cheaper than others to help seniors.  Got it ten years ago, but didn't realise until last year that Plan F with others is far cheaper.!It is not helping us and now I cannot get UHC to notify Social Security that I no longer have their prescription drug plan.

  Where I am currently living is not working very well and thus I am in need of another place to live in the Kansas City area, preferably North Kansas City or northern Kansas City area as soon as possible.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Dental insurance , Is there any for arrp members 

Going through AARP shows good rates, but these are not final pricing, which will include fees, and ends up being much more than the ones found through Kayak or other OTA (Online Travel Agencies). Check the upper right corner during reservation and you'll see the very small final price. Very easy to miss and you end up thinking you're paying for the price shown at the beginning.
