Membership

i am unable to add the membership card to Wallet after renewal. I deleted/removed the expired card in Wallet which said expired for the prior year membership. Now when I try to add from the App or the link, it doesn't do anything - the card is not added to Wallet. How can this issue be fixed? Thank you in advance for any help.

I received a letter today from AARP - "Over the past few weeks we've been reminding you to restore your AARP membership.  You still have not responded and now our records indicate that your membership has expired".  They provided me with my membership number.  Problem is I have not received any reminders.  Further problem is I renewed my membership on April 29.  I received an email thanking me for renewing my membership.  This was a day before it was set to expire.  Same membership number that was on my expired membership letter.  What gives - are they trying to make me think that I did not renew just to get more money.  This is frustrating.  

I have never saw anything on AARP if there are any discounts for this hotel.  I plan to stay at one in Tampa FL soon but I see their reviews are not very good. Has anyone ever stayed there?  The one I am looking at is on Anderson Road in Tampa.  

 I used my Barclay reward points to renew AARP membership.  They took the rewards points and never renewed my membership.  I got the code and did everything it said.  It never showed up as renewed.I did chat with AARP and the person asked for my mailing address.  I gave it.  I typed it in correct, I should know my own address.  She asked for it again.  I just gave it to her.  She says, Ma'am, can you type it in again.  I give up.  At this point, I've been a member for quite a few years.  I think both sites purposely do not work in order to make you call.  I'm not calling or renewing at this point.  I just lose my reward points.  Good day

I have entered my new email address on the Account Details page. The verification email arrived, however the verification link in it returns me to the Account Details page, but does not complete loading it.  All I get is the spinning circle.  I have tried the Bot's suggestions (clear cookies, etc) to no avail.  I have also tried a different browser; my default is Firefox, but I tried Edge, too. Any other suggestions?

I’ve made multiple requests directly to AARP Tennessee, but so far those attempts have not resulted in receiving a copy, nor a clear explanation of whether such bylaws exist or whether Tennessee operates solely under national AARP bylaws.I’ve also searched publicly available sources and have not been able to find any Tennessee‑specific AARP bylaws posted online.I’m not looking for anything sensitive — just the basic governing rules that explain how AARP Tennessee is structured, how decisions are made at the state level, and how members fit into that structure. I can't help but wonder who thought it'd be a good idea to plaster the entire site with so many static and drop down/pop up ads for membership renewal? I have YEARS left on my membership and have zero interest in renewal at this time. Further, I am much less likely to renew given the constant barrage of renewal messaging on every page of the AARP website. I know that when/if I renew, I will still be constantly bombarded on a site that is greatly diminished by reminders and offers for my renewal. It's already too much to be forced to see so much advertising on a site and for a business that I essentially--if partially and minutely--fund. I'm not paying for a membership to be pandered to constantly and it irks me that I have no way of opting out of such needless and unwanted messaging given that I can do a Google search for most everything that's provided on this site. I have used the site less and less because of all of the aforementioned, and the less I use it? The less I want to

I have two suggestions for the AARP website team, regarding renewals. First, when I logged in to renew, there was no way to renew without turning on Auto-Renew! That was really annoying. (I ended up using a URL from a mailer that bypassed the Account page.) Second, please give us the option of saying "no" to the renewal gift. I don't want another bag or whatever. I'd rather you take the expense to create and ship it to me and donate it to someone who needs it.

I have tried 6 times over 3 different web browser to renew through a 2-year offer sent to me. Every time, after putting in the required info, I click submit, and a small window pops up with "Processing... Please wait..."   So I wait. And wait. And wait. 10 minutes later I give up. I guess AARP isn't actually interested in renewing memberships?

AARP,OMG, give me a break! I've already renewed, your desperation to retain members is so incredibly frustrating me I'm considering cancelling payment on my check. Please stop sending the massive flood of renewal reminders, offers, useless free gifts, "exceptional pricing", ...... And it comes in email, USPS, and texts. ENOUGH!    I know you're thinking that I can choose my preferred method, go through a huge list of subjects that I care about to limit what I receive; BUT I shouldn't have to!!Your practices and ethics in contacting me are as bad as SPAM calls and texts from political candidates.Which BTW, if any member reads this and is looking for my vote for President, put spam and/or robo calls/texts, the sale of information obtained by me or my devices, eliminating the use of BOTS in company contact methods, and unsolicited marketing at the top of your charter. Take notice AARP, all of your "Contact methods" show up as BOTS; I don't want to speak for everyo
