AARP Help

Besides wanting to keep my mind active, I enjoy playing games to relax. Thing is, most AARP provided games include timers and music that ADD to the stress of playing. A great example is Word Wipe, which is quite enjoyable to play, but pretty stressful at the same time (not in a good way). Both the timer and the music seem aimed at creating, instead of reducing, anxiety. Based on the same, it would be great if a non-timed option were added. It would also be great if we could select the music that plays during game play. Relatedly, I primarily play on my PC and, like most, have upsized most text (as a global setting) so that I can more easily read information on my screen. This same function seems to make many games unplayable on a personal computer. A perfect example is the Throwback Thursday crossword, which doesn't display at all--even when I remove the altered global setting that upsizes characters/fonts.  I have all the email notifications on; but I have not received any emails from AARP for over 2 weeks. What do I need to do to correct this problem ?

Cannot enter any sweepstakes. When I try to redeem some "Reward" points for a sweepstakes, I get the following error message when I click "Confirm""Oops! An error occurred. Please refresh your browser to get back on track." It's not my web browser; I have used three different browsers, including a fresh copy of Firefox with no add-ins. I'm not the only one having this problem.  I know this can be hard to troubleshoot - tech was my work life. I was smart enough to get someone smarter than me anytime a problem persisted this long.  A manager needs to go to the web folks and tell them: Do. Your. Job. or get out. You need to hire some qualified person to fix this. I'm qualified, not interested. Do. Your. Job. 

Went through AARP to check prices to book and compared with same trip going just through BA. Difference was a total of$10 off not $65 as advertised and that was on two tickets. As I fly every year it was the main reason I joined so very disappointed.

You sponsor a company to give us discounts for wills, but don't give any idea as to what the average cost is of a super simple will like I die my wife gets everything, would be my will. Or do you even have lawyers local to me that do cheap wills?

How do I get the same membership number as my husband's? My husband and I are both members but have different membership numbers. I need the same membership number as his to get a discount.

Why hasn’t Aarp reached out to us about the now defunct Shyft Moving broker. We paid Shyft  over $10k for brokering a move from Md to Ga that included storage for 3 mo. Now it’s time to schedule delivery in Feb and I’m told by the moving co-Helix- that Shyft filed bankruptcy and they haven’t received a dime. aaro customer service just hung up on the call and said there was noone in the org  to even talk to about the situation. 

Just finished purchasing the Texas Roadhouse daily deal and the message popped up that I have reached the limit for the month.  The fine print still says FIVE per month!!  What's up? Thank!

Have GE profile front load washer barley 6 months out of the factory warranty sounds like a jet engine during the spin cycle, a known issue with these machines. GE refuses to repair.  Local company found bad inverter board, bearings and sensor w/i the motor.  Repair will be over $700.  I've filed c/o with BBB and will be writing to the CEO, Kevin Nolen.  AARP will not help. Any suggestions?

I already give to the AARP foundation by making a monthly donation.  I am CONSTANTLY getting mail asking if I would like to give to the foundation.  I get so much mail from AARP that it is maddening and a waste of money.  I have to wonder if every mailing goes to everyone regardless.  I saw another post about the constant membership renewal requests when we are already members that are not expiring soon!

Do u carry Walgreens gift cards 

 I just attempted to enroll in two online classes - chair yoga and strength training.  With both (and I'm assuming for ALL classes), I am required to agree to let AARP use my name and photos for any purpose they wish.  WHAT???  This seems ridiculously intrusive to me, and I'm told there is no way to opt out of this requirement.  So - do I get a discount to not being able to access this part of AARP?

Please refund the $16. I canceled my membership. 

  I am trying to set up and account and password for "Senior Planet".  However, I get stuck in a loop.  I have already set up an account.  When I enter my user name and password, I receive a message saying that I need to reset my password.  When I click on the link and enter my e-mail to receive instructions and a link to create a new password, my account is not recognized.  I sent an e-mail in November asking for my account to be deleted so that I could start fresh.  No help was forthcoming.  Thank you for any advice, Elizabeth

I I have over 15,000 reward points and have tried numerous times to redeem them for a magazine subscription. It won't allow me to do it. Does anyone know why? It always says, "Unable to process your redemption request". I follow all the guidelines in redeeming my points.

I was just told by and online call center ADT rep that there is no active AARP discount with.  Does anyone have any different info?

 Hello,I need some information on how I can obtain a cheap or free disposal container to put my Flex-pens, needles, dexcom waste into and also how to turn them in to a facility or have someone pick them up at my home.  I don't want to continue putting them in my household trash.  I've went down the rabbit hole of google and even checked the FDA site and I can't find what I'm needing.  Does anyone have info on any discounts or someone that I could reach out to?  I live in WV, I'm 60 y/o and on a Marketplace insurance for now.  I have an extremely limited income and do not drive.  I want to do the right thing, of disposing of these correctly but can't figure out a good way to get it done.  Thanks, in advance for your assistance and have a ~Blessed Day.~

my primary physician has submitted request for Zepbound and I am being continuously denied by Medicare. I have several healthcare problems and Medicare keeps denying me. I am wondering if there are others like me who are on Medicare, but has a weight problem and continuously or denied help. Look forward to hearing from others who have experienced this.

I am trying to update my email address on the Volunteer Portal (volunteers.aarp.org) but it is just not working. My email address on the main membership page is correct, vluckiewicz@gmail.com.  On the volunteer portal, it lists my email as jrzygrl415@gmail.com, an address I do not use frequently.  When I'm asked to confirm my email address, I do not get any emails to either address! Can you please correct my address in the Volunteer Portal to be vluckiewicz@gmail.com? Am a current Walmart+ member, but membership renewal coming January 1st. Walmart+ has annual fee of $98.00, but AARP has $40.00 discount on this. Have tried numerous times to sign up for this discount through the AARP website, but keep getting the same message, "Looks like your're already a Walmart+ member" and will not allow me to fill out any form necessary or continue on. Have contacted Walmart+ several times and they are unable to do anything. Is there a fix for this? It is very frustrating as it is suppose to be a AARP benefit that we cannot take advantage of...

f Hello.  I need some help.  I'm wondering if AARP has information on Disposal containers for my needles and how to have someone come and pick them up at my home.  I do not drive and am on a very fixed income.  Are there any discounts or information that anyone can provide to me?  Note:  I am 60 years old and on a Marketplace insurance plan and not on Medicare or Medicaid.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I've tried googling but it's a mouse maze, trying to find out what I'm looking for.  Have a ~Blessed Day.~
