FAVORITE MALE SINGERS OF ANY GENRE

Well, we can't leave the guys out can
we? Who are your favorite male singers of any
genre? I'm not talking bands here but solo artists. Of
course, if they were in a band and also went solo you can still name
them such as Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora both of whom are members
of the group Bon Jovi but have also gone solo. Here's some of
mine from times past to the present:

Frank Sinatra,
Perry Como, Dean Martin, Brook Benton, Jerry Butler, Conway Twitty,
Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Johnny Tillotson, Donovan,
Eddie Cochran, Gene McDaniels, Glen Yarborough, Neil Young, Bob
Dylan, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Eric Clapton, and so many more.

You may also name
your favorite male singer from a band but not the band itself.
For instance, we all know that Diane loves the band Aerosmith
but she would say Steven Tyler.

Good ones all!!

Rod is another rocker
like Mick who looks good dressed up : ) as he does for
his current day tours. I do however remember fondly the
early days : )

I remember my boss and
some other guys in the office kidding me about him saying he
looked like a girl. I asked them if they had seen his
wife. That kinda shut that up. LOL (He was
married to the blond and beautiful Alana Hamilton Stewart at
the time)

Rachel Hunter. They were married from 1990 - 2006 though they
separated in 1999. He recently married model Penny
Lancaster last year on June 16th. They have a son who was
born in 2005.

Here’s a funny story from my concert:

Rod came out in a
pink spandex outfit and while tossing beach balls and jumping around
he split his pants. Kept right on playing. The only
thing I didn’t like about this concert was that it was a very
hot day and we waited almost two hours in the heat for him to
finally come on stage. I don’t like it when a band makes
you wait that long. Tom Petty did the same thing that year.

That was a funny
story. I would guess that he really didn't care much.
After seeing the concert wear of lots of the rockers I don't think
that much would !

I do agree that that is
very inconsiderate of an artist to make the audience wait like
that. Wouldn't it be funny if everyone left as a
joke. That would be funny : )

Hank Williams Jr. has gone on stage for very short periods and just
left. People pay good money and should at least get a two hour
concert. It would be funny if they all left but then again it
wouldn't hurt the artist unless you protested by not buying tickets
to a different concert since he or she already got your money from
this one.

is not all about money. Some of the artists will practically
stay as long as somebody is out there listening and others are out
of there asap.

You are right that once

Well, that sounds good to me. Speaking of not being able to hear I learned that Eric Clapton now has hearing problems. He spoke of this in his book. He also has indigestion issues and back problems and that's why touring has gotten harder for him. Maybe Mick could teach him a few tricks. LOL

You know I never thought about hearing loss for the artists, mostly the audience : ) but it is a wonder that any of them don't have that problem considering the years and years of loud music exposure.

Hey, maybe Mick should write a how to book for those other guys : )
