  Can someone tell me how to remove and or delete my profile and account from this ridiculous site?!?  When I go to my account the screen freezes up. There is nothing on this site for me but aggravation!!!

Hi,I’m trying to update my spouse’s email on the Members in this household tab on our account details page. There is not an option to remove/add/edit anyone in that box.  Can you help please?  Thanks, Jim C

No place where AARP management will listen to ideas & complaints. Do they know everything or believe their members & readers are too dumb to tell AARP what they want? 

If I renew for the 5 year membership (@ $55). does it start when my current membership expires (Feb 2026), or will it start now (thereby losing 6 months membership)?

AARP sends mass mailings to "valued members" to renew.  Over the years, I've received many of these posted YEARS before my membership is actually due for renewal.  AARP is well aware of this and chooses not to correct this clearly deceptive and predatory practice.  It will be interesting to see if AARP takes down this post.

I just joined AARP and went to Profile Detailes where it says - add a second person.  It said I am unable to add a person with the same name.  Yes, it is my wife with the same last name.  I added my wife on my application but it did not show it in my profile details.  Can someone in AARP add this to my profile details.  I want my wife to get her own card. Thanks.

hi, yesterday I redeemed the 16K in points to obtain the $5 Home Depot card,  my account balance was reduced but I have yet to receive the gift card.  Usually it takes seconds or just a few mins to receive but still nothing.  Wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this lag as well?   Yes, I have been checking my "spam" folder as well.  Nothing   

No matter what I try to do, I am getting messages that "it cannot be done".I am connecting via Surfshark VPN.  This is a common issue when trying to prevent tracking online. I try to edit my name, "cannot be done". I try to edit anything in my profile, "cannot be done". If this keeps continuing I'd rather end my membership than put up with things like this.I'm this >< much closer to just canceling it all.

My husband, Fred, has a membership.I thought we were both on the same membership, but I get emails daily asking me to join. I don't mind joining, but wondered if we were both on his.

 I constantly am receiver mailers for such things a automatic membership renewal, and memberships.  Since I am already a member and had signed up long ago for automatic renewal, why are my membership dollars going out to pay for these expensive mailers? This is not very efficient and I would love to see that operational costs are  being reduced.  I would be surprised if I am the only person throughout the country that get this kind of mail. Are you in the process of comparing your membership data with your marketing data? This  seems to be about as efficient as DOGE. Sincerely,Phil Westmoreland

 I just received a notification from UnitedHealthcare stating that they are pursuing an 18% INCREASE in rates for the Medicare Supplement Plan G for 2026.  Since I signed up, they have in consecutive years asked for (and received) increases of 5%, 7%, and 9%.  And now they're looking for 18%?  And for what, stock buybacks? Since AARP apparently shills for this company, I have been forced to rethink your usefulness as an organization.  If I don't see you people ACTIVELY lobbying on our behalf in this matter, I will seriously entertain dropping my membership.  In addition, on some of the few social media sites in which I participate, I will actively encourage others to do the same.  DO YOUR JOB!

I switched my membership to all digital on June 2 and I am still getting the magazine and bulletin mailed to me. How long does it take to stop getting those mailed? I did get a confirmation email on June 2 saying I would stop getting mailed publications.

Unbeknownst to me, someone signed me up for AARP.  I immediately started getting 20-30 scam calls a day for Medicaid/Medicare.  I was able to trace them back to AARP.   I am now putting the full effort of my Marketing and Legal teams to make sure the government and media know about this predatory business.

Membership was renewed via charge dated 7/3/2025.   The membership number was removed to protect privacy.    

I went to renew my membership today (add on to it before the expiration date arrives). It looks like the only option available for renewing a membership now is to sign up for auto-renewal (which I DO NOT want to do). Is the organization TRYING to drop members for some reason? Why is auto-renew not just an option, instead members are corralled into a corridor that requires signing up for automatic charges. Generally this is something that is prone to abuse, it's something that magazine subscriptions do - offering low cost entry and then raising rates significantly upon renewals. It is something I have observed from slimy organizations looking to profiteer, but not something that I would at all expect from an organization that touts itself as a membership advocacy organization. When will this be fixed, so members can actually have a choice?

Hi There, Dan here, I just joined and was real excited about diving into all that AARP is about until I was invited to download the AARP App. When I tried to download it, it immediately responded to me with the message : “Unable to continue. You need to have OS16 or higher/laterwhatever It was. I’ve come across this message with other companies and I just delete them but AARP is supposed to be for “Seniors” (who, almost all, are on fixed incomes, and can’t afford a $1000.00 fancy phone). I am extremely disappointed with AARP concerning this issue. You can’t tell me that these MBA Computer Software people can’t make this app workable by (almost) all phones that a lot of Seniors can afford !!!!!!! I believe that the “Top People” at AARP might not be aware of this issue as almost all these software people have the latest and greatest phones and equipment afforded them by their 6 figure incomes. I’m not denying their worth but just their shortsightedness to older folks on fixed incomes.&nb

Yesterday I came across a posting by a MODERATOR which was a single TRAVEL TRIVIA question.  It was answered correctly by a newbie. These being DISCUSSION BOARDS, I found reading a single question....asked and answered...... to be a waste of my time. To express my opinion of the thread, I posted a message that was basically the word DULL typed several times. Today, that comment is missing. The censorship on these boards is getting out of hand.  MODERATORS are censoring comments based on personal preferences, not based on violations of the guidelines or Terms of Service.

I have not received a membership card yet, only the ability to print my own which is on plain paper and isn't very sturdy in my wallet
