37 degrees here in Virginia. High of 70. Lol, laying low like I did yesterday until it warms up. Have a Garden Project to finish hopefully before Old Man Winter arrives. 🤞 They have "padding" over the red clay here at my Studio Apt in the area I turned into one of two "tiny" gardens on the side of my porch. Last year was my 1st time gardening here. Did it all the time (year round) in Florida. Lol, took 7 years for me to want to here. Had to learn about the "seasons". Anyway, last year I had just dumped 2 bags of Dollar Tree potting soil on top of padding. They also had RED STONES on top of padding. Potting soil covered BOTH but was NOT "deep" enough for bulbs. 😞 So NEXT SPRING, ideally I want the padding & red stones removed from the area the bulbs will return to. Yes the Caladium bulbs from Walmart did well but "struggled" UNDERGROUND with stones & padding. A neighbor had gotten me a bag of 5 for Mother's Day this year. Cutting out the padding after digging up an edge has certainly kept me WARM while outside./lol 😂 Not happy about the red clay.

I found one Michelle @MichelleC103656 Mannix from 1974. Prime has 8 seasons of it as videos. 22 episodes each season. Been YEARS since I watched it. Now back to watching something "live" on the Prime TV Listing. 👍 Will return to Mannix about midnight. 👍

👋 Good Morning!!! 35 degrees for me here in Virginia. Hope you guys got some sleep last night. I did mixed in with dreaming. Lol, out of food as usual by Monday = so to Kroger today. Wish I had more space in my Studio Apt to go once a month. My parents had a huge freezer & shopped monthly. Cecelia @CeciliaM384861 , you are in our thoughts today dear friend. Yes, the DREADED 19th is here. Sue @SuannS376570 , we would luv to hear more about your two dogs 🐶🐶, when and if you want to. We are family here & NEVER any pressure to share or post. It was down to 35 here in New York this morning, too. I know what you mean about not having room for storage. When we lived in apartments, we only had a small fridge and freezer. Our townhouse has more room. We bought a chest freezer a few years back. My parents used to have a side by side fridge with freezer, a stand up freezer in the back room, and another chest freezer in the kitchen. They had to shop every week though, because there were 8 kids and some of the grandchildren. My parents raised 9 kids and 12 of their 20 grandchildren. When I was growing up, our house was always full. My parents had bought an 8 bedroom house, but some of had to share rooms. And sometimes, when my sisters would return with their 1 to 3 children, and my great grandmother living with us, my brother Mark and I would end up sleeping in the living room. We didn't really mind. We had a roof over our heads, food to eat, and a family that loved us.🙂🤗

It just got dark here in New York. I laughed when I read about Mister supervising. Our cats do that, too,especially Stewie. He always has to be involved in everything that we do inside and out. Korie and Ashley had a wonderful birthday party together. Everyone had a great time. It was nice to have fun and not think about everything. Luv and hugs to you and Mister. 🤗🙂😻😸😺😺😸😻

I prefer offline, but this group has really helped me to deal with the loss of my husband, Verl. Do you have any pets? I have a cat. i am so sorry to learn of the loss of your husband. we do have 2 little dogs both under 13 lbs. & we love them dearly..i guess really like family. we love animals. always have. we have had cats & dogs in the past. when i was young my stepdad had horses. but that was a long long time ago. kicking & screaming on my way to 80
