I'm a little late today to stop by and wish my friends on the forum a nice Valentines Day. It may not be happy. That is ok. Not every day is happy. I find happiness in moments. I find peace in spirituality. Sometimes the practices of our youth can bring comfort and hope. And to remind us we are living in answered prayer. For all the times our prayers have been answered. Also, the night doesn't last but tomorrow is another day. Take care of yourselves.

Trust☆Jesus and let him lead and guide you. He will give you peace that passes all understand. GIVE YOUR SELF COMPLETELY TO JESUS AND IT WILL WORK OUT. 

Yes,we are doing somewhat better. We had some nice holidays and are looking forward to more, and also several birthdays🎂. Jim's birthday is on March 1st. He will be 65. Our son-in -law ,Bryce, has his birthday on March 6. He will be 30. Our oldest girl cat, Bristol, will be 16 on April 4th. She has had some stomach problems over the last few months and has been taking a couple medications. She is doing a lot better. I hope that you and Mister had some nice holidays. Hello, Nicole!  I have been thinking about you, too. We have had a crazy busy week. The grandkiddos had the week off, Presidents Day and Midwinter vacation. We have been taking care of our youngest daughter Korie's 2. Our 9 year old granddaughter, Scarlett, was sick with the flu. Her parents couldn't take any more time off from work. We were trying and hoping not to let her brother,Aiden, and ourselves get sick. It has been a long and tiring week. Thankfully, Scarlett felt so much better today. She is happy to at least have the weekend to enjoy before returning to school on Monday. I hope that you and Mister and everyone are doing well. Nicole, I agree. It's definitely a challenge to keep up with a healthy diet. A frozen

meal, though processed, is better than chips or a candy bar. Add a salad, ready made. A few days of eating poorly takes the body  a while to catch up. There are also outreach programs like Meals on Wheels and Senior food resources to look into. Anyway, good luck to everyone on this topic! Taking care of ourselves is a weight lifted from the shoulders of those who love and care about us.

The weather in North Carolina is just excellent!  It's around 4:30 in the afternoon and I was just thinking that today was a happy one.  I had both busy and lazy moments. 

The past week marked the two-year anniversary of my wife's passing.  I visited the grave site and placed springtime flowers.  I spoke with some of my friends and her friends. I miss my sweet lady, but I am working to rebuild my life. One that is different but yet familiar.  Does that make any sense?

Hey,Nicole! I was just thinking about you last night and wondering how you are. We just came in from outside. It had started raining. It had been sunny and 72. It was a beautiful day. I just gave the furbabies their dinner. Stewie decided to go back out. Bristol is upstairs. Nova is napping. I hope that you and your Mister are doing better. Good Morning, Nicole!  I have been thinking about you ,too. I hope that you are doing better. It was good news that you will soon not be needing your walking boot and be getting another car.

I was so happy that it was the first day of Spring. Then, I  received a message that Chuck Norris had died. My Mom and I used to watch his show "Walker, Texas Ranger". I still watch an episode or two every so often. My Mom used to call him "The Kicker ". I was thinking how sad she would have been to learn of his passing. I am going to have to end this message. You are always such a bright spot in my day. So many of us appreciate everything about you. I just read your message, and now,I am crying happy tears. It is cool and raining here in New York today. It is a good day to feel sad. My sister Debbie and I talk about having days and nights where we just can't stop crying. We miss our parents so much. I always tell her that we were lucky to have them in our lives for such a long time. Other people are not so lucky. It is getting to be one of those days. I try to stop crying and then start again. Easter is in 2 weeks,and holidays were so important to my parents. Birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays make us miss our lost loved ones that much more. Thank you for your kind words and support, Nicole. I am so glad that we made a connection. I just blew my nose and wiped my eyes. I am going to go downstairs and have some coffee and a little snack.
