I Just want to get an AARP PHYSICAL membership card MAILED (NOT Emailed) to my address. Not interested in E-Cards. Not interested in the App. Will never load the AARP App on my phone. This has proven to be daunting! I live in the physical world and I just want to receive my physical membership card by surface mail to my address. Not planning to review my membership due to this!S.A.
Ever since my renewal a few months ago, I have not been receiving the magazine or bulletin. I have also gone on the app to check each for status and have no luck navigating that info. Please advise ASAP.Thank you
Is there a television set that is friendly to seniors, i.e. does not have a complicated remote and initial screens that have all kinds of unnecessary icons?
Hello I am wondering what I’m being charged for? I did not give authorization to withdraw from my account, cancel whatever it is and refund, thank you!!!
I noticed this issue first with the Arkadium's Fill Ins puzzle but it has now also started on Garden Bloom. The red AARP banner at the top of the page (where it says "AARP - Membership & Benefits - Members Edition . . .") is now lowering down so far on the screen, it is obstructing view of the puzzle. No amount of fooling with the scroll bars fixes the problem. I already have my window as large as my monitor will allow. It used to be the banner would lower if you scrolled over it but recently it doesn't go back up. I'm attaching a screen shot of the problem. Notice the large amount of white space between my bookmark toolbar at the top of the screen and the red AARP banner.
I have three specific questions that I've spent countless hrs. researching but can't find the answer to and of which my attorney answers vaguely. This is in regard to my parent's death (90 yrs old) and her sole asset which was a co op in her name in Nassau County NY. She received community Medicaid from 2021 to 2024 and she died in 2024. Medicaid already sent me the affidavit with amount they want to recover which is sizable. I am the adult child / executor. I'm asking because I am the adult child / executor who would like to know when I can withdraw / use that money from the estate account. Questions:1. What is the timeframe that Medicaid has for estate recovery in New York State? I'm finding mixed AI results online such as 5 years, 6 years, 20 years. 2. Where can I find a neutral third party to answer these Medicaid questions?3. Does anyone have great information regarding their experience with negotiating with Medicaid? My attorney said once I receive the letter fro
I submitted a comment and posted it only to see ‘Comtent deactivated-Why?’ What does this mean?
I have tried and tried and tried to login to the mobile app so that I can watch the documentary tonight. I have a Samsung Galaxay phone with the latest updates, running Android. I click login, enter my email, click, enter my password, click and all I get is a Chrome page with a stuck spinner. I have cleared my cache, deleted the cookies, several times, restarted my phone, several times. I even restarted my internet router! And same, no change.
The message posted online when you try to access the Rewards menu is NOT true: it says you can continue to earn rewards while there are technical repairs going on. You cannot! I was only able to access the rewards menu to select "earn rewards" for about 20 minutes on one occasion during the last two+ weeks. It is frustrating AARP continues to post erroneous messages. It is strange this problem is taking this long to resolve.
First, to be clear---I appreciate AARP and all the various advocacy and policy engagement activities, as well as the car and health insurance....so I renew automatically......I'm writing however, because the free gift, well, it fell apart on the first use---and I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issue....frankly it's really just cardboard is VERY flimsy......I know it was a "free" gift so it's strange for me to complain....I just wish it were of MUCH higher quality so that I could use it----and also let people know that AARP is always high quality.... Thanks!!!
has AARP been hacked? Nobody takes days for maintenance unless they have been hacked.
Is AARP reconsidering its relationship with United Healthcare? UHC leads the industry in denial of coverage, a circumstance which is driving the public at large sentiment away from the company and the whole concept of corporate insurance as the best way to fund health care. And I was surprised that AARP rakes about $200 off the top of my annual payments to its UHC Supplemental plan. It seems to me that AARP might be entirely too cozy with UHC. The health insurance is the only substantive reason for me to pay membership dues to AARP. The Roadside Assistance Plan has been shunted to some sort of AI-Bot system in which one rarely gets to speak to a human about non-scripted details of an emergency situation. The bot actually cancelled a request for help last winter. And its cost has increased 65% in the last seven years. I'll be switching to some other agency (maybe even the dreaded AAA) at the end of the current billing cycle —and pulling the plug on AARP entirely, after 20
I must register my feedback on your long standing promotion of United Healthcare's Med Advantage plans. I work in healthcare, specifically rehab therapy. I have seen first hand the devastating affect Med Advantage plans have had on the quality of care of my patients. Med Advantage plans are often owned by private equity firms that are profit rather than patient centered. Patient stays are cut short for financial reasons when patients are unsafe to return home. Appeals are constantly being filed; some accepted, most denied. And United Healthcare denials in rural hospitals are closing down scarce resources in communities that are already struggling to find care. How is this responsible, AARP? PLEASE rethink your stand on this issue.
Documents received via USPS offered 5 year renewal at $45, online renewal was $63. Paid before I noticed that the discount did not apply. Any possibility of getting a refund on the difference? Also, looking forward to using the sweet Versatile Everyday Tote!
just received a quote from Hartford for car insurance in Portland Oregon Their quote is by far (90%!) more expensive compared to other proposals and this is despite my AARP membership , my age and clean record, AARP and Hartford promises to provide lowest rates.I there another company to check to get competitive car insurance rates for over 65?
Ok, I have HAD it with the ads for Progressive Insurance that feature the topic about avoiding becoming like your parents? Since when is that a bad thing??? Sure, a lot of parents weren't great; mine certainly weren't, and I have spent most of my life working to over come that. But I would like to think that for the most part, parents of our generation tried to do our best when we were raising our children. I worked very hard to make certain that I did a better job of parenting. Personally, I am offended by those commercials, and I think they just might be contributing to the epidemic of abandoned parents that I have been reading about. In this time when political correctness is at the forefront, and accepting and respecting all people and their choice of lifestyle, ethnic differences, religious beliefs and a host of other individual differences, why it is still ok to make fun of, and disrespect those of us who have lived many decades? Aren't we
I've asked for a refund on several occasions haven't received it to this day. This started in April of 2025 I was sent a email stating that my refund would be sent in 3 days here we are into late August. Every time I call an agent tells me that someone will call me in 3 days. My question is way is necessary for them to call me before sending my refund when they've sent me a email stating they would send refund. They've sent me down a rabbit hole on more than 4 occasions. This company is so quick to take your payment seems to take forever to refund your money.
CHAIR YOGA advertisement has minimal advertisement signs ( except the tiny triangle in the upper right corner.Once you are in , the ask for name, email, DOB, to create a " plan" for chair yoga. Hi, I’d like to permanently delete my AARP online account immediately and remove all associated personal data from your systems. This includes any membership records, login credentials, and stored information. Please confirm once the deletion is complete and that my data has been purged. I do not wish to retain access or receive further communications.
I was insured with The Hartford for 20 years if not longer. In, I think 2020, I was involved in an accident that was not my fault. My vehicle was totaled by a drunk driver who ran a red light. For months I continued paying the premium until my thoughts cleared from the head trauma. I spoke with a representative and asked would there be an issue with my canceling the policy since I did not have a vehicle when the time came to replace the one which was totaled. I was assured that there would be no problem. Well, four years later when the case was settled, I purchased another vehicle and attempted to be insured and was denied because I had not been insured for at least 2 years (I think that was the time frame I was told). How could I be insured when I DID NOT HAVE A VEHICLE??? Suffice it to say, I had to get insured through another agency. AARP and its agents appear to be very deceptive. I renewed my membership but now I considering canceling. I think I need to have my head examined
Beware of AARP harrassment!!!! I have called Hartford 5 times to tell them to stop mailing me about their auto insurance. They referred me to AARP and I told them in no uncertain terms not to send me any more mail about the Hartford. This is unwanted and I will not waste time with someone that engages in false advertising. such as telling me that I will save $580 a year over my current coverage and in fact they are $900 more a year than my current coverage. However, the real point is I do not want any more mail from AARP affiliations. Period- full stop. This is garbage junk and I resent having to throw away someone else’s garbage, be it in my front yard or mailbox. No one would like me throwing my garbage in their home yard.As an attorney, I am going to Federal District Court in North Texas and file a lawsuit against AARP on 9/05 regarding this unless they can assure me that under no conditions will they send me any more mail. I have already filed a complaint with the F
At least once a week I get a mailing advertising Hartford car insurance affiliated with AARP. They offer a free Weekend Duffelbag if you get a quote. I called and spent time answering all the questions and did a quote that was 30% more than my current car insurance. I was told I would get a separate email offering the duffelbag. It never happened. I called again and after being put on hold a long time, I was told I would get the duffelbag in a "few weeks." I don't trust AARP affiliated insurance products. I had a similar experience with a life insurance product. It was way overpriced and not highly rated.
Fork Yeah! Make a Salad that Rocks TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE! Might as well say the real F word! Stop trying to be cute and what editor would approve that headline.
Fisher Investments has been advertising heavily. I am considering a closer look. Does anyone care to share their experience with them?
