Why are you using 3rd party companies that don't allow us to opt out of Cookies/ Selling our data?

I wanted to sign up for the Digital Vaults for Safe Document Storage webinar but you send us to somewhere called CVent that won't allow us to Reject cookies or even just allow Necessary cookies. And no way to tell them Not to sell our personal data.

AARP should have staff that understands that is not acceptable in this day and age!

Privacy concerns are real.

Hi.  I’m assuming you checked CVent’s privacy policy.  I just did again, and you do have to jump through hoops to have them opt you out of privacy concerns.  But if you read through it, (again, one shouldn’t have to go to all this mess just to maintain privacy concerns), you can control, and delete what you provide to them after contacting them.  Personally, it’s not worth it to me to do the events with all the mumbo jumbo.  If cookies are a further concern those can be manually deleted from device.  But I get it, the selling of info and the rest, etc. should have easy opt-outs.

Personally AARP should NOT be using companies that, in my opinion seem Shady at best, unless they want us to think they are too.

An easy to maneuver opt out would’ve been fine by me, but if it’s too much to even get to it, I won’t bother with participating.
