I have attempted to post on the main AARP page and have been blocked. The website keeps booting me out and back to the log-in page. Many of my other recent posts have been totally removed as well with no reason. I have followed the requirements on posts and still get removed with no reason or notification.
Seen while going through some posts, it appears to be a padlock on a triangle attached to an occasional post.

I got a new card but the name is written DENA Avery. My name is DONA.
Someone recommended "Good Rx" as a program for reduced-cost medications. More recently, someone else was recommending "Clever RX". Are these programs legit? Apparently they work in lieu of your regular drug insurance. They claim to reduce drug costs dramatically. What's the catch?Do they only work for an initial period and terminate if you are using the medication regularly? How are they able to achieve savings that the regular drug insurance companies cannot? Are they paying the insurance advisors/agents to promote them? If so, can we still trust the advice of the insurance advisors/agents?It would be nice to see an article about these programs in the AARP publication. If it is there, I haven't been able to find it.
I am still unable to redeem the $5 ULTA gift card. I click on the card, but there is nowhere to complete the redemption. It is a member only redemption and I am a member. And I also have the necessary points to redeem. This is getting very frustrating.
When I logged into the AARP website and got into the * AARP REWARDS tab, the You have MAXed out fo the day appeared and I am not able to watch any videos for Rewards or Claim any rewards because it claims that I am MAXed out for the Day. I have already cleared history and cache. Thanks.
Hi, new here and started playing family feud and I my opponent had a nice avatar. How do I make one, please?
Hi everyone,I’m reaching out to this community for guidance regarding a financial matter involving benefits left by my late grandfather. (I didnt know where to post this so please forgive me!). He passed away in 2011, and I recently discovered that there may be $5,000 in benefits available through his insurance. I’ve been told that in Connecticut, claims like this do not expire, which gives me hope that I can still access these funds.Context: -My grandfather passed away in 2010, leaving behind an insurance policy with potential benefits that were never claimed.-I live in Connecticut, where I understand that insurance claims don’t have a strict expiration date, but I’m unsure about the specific process or challenges I might face in filing a claim after so much time has passed.-I’m currently in a transitional period, moving out of a difficult living situation, and this $5,000 could provide a significant boost in helping me establish stability.my questions- Has anyone dealt with clai
Need help where to upload resume on AARP JOB board thank you very much. Sincerely, Carol
Please consider removing SilverSingle dating app from your list of recommendations. I cancelled the auto renewal within their ridiculous "three-day" refund period. And since they are in a different time zone, they said I cancelled within 4 days without considering the time zone difference. Now I am stuck with a service I don't want to use, and can't get a refund, even though I haven't used the service in months. They "fake" get you to sign up for a premium account in the first place by having fake profiles "smile" at you -and you have to log on to see who they are and come to find out it's not even a real account since the person that smiled at you doesn't respond to your message. I paid for the first 6 months, and I'm not asking for that, since I knew what I was paying for. I just want the exorbitant price that was charged for the auto renewal refunded, and when I reached out to "customer service", SilverSingles refused to issue a refund. I just want to warn anyone who is thinking abo
I am traveling in February on my first vacation of the year I am looking for a dog sitter in the Las Vegas area cannot afford the morning care in my city to expensive but there's anyone out there that ows of any dog sitters n the 89146 area
AARP keeps saying that they worked to lower the cost of the drugs and point out that now there is an out-of-pocket annual cap of $2,000. I think that they don't know what "transparency" and "honesty" mean and that we are all stupid. First, the monthly premiums have sky-rocketed, the annual deductibles have sky-rocketed, the cap applies ONLY to the drugs covered by drug plan insurances. Now more drugs are not covered. What am I missing ...........AARP is one of the most unethical companies I have dealt with! They recommend United Health Group as the greatest insurance company on earth but they collect a ton of money from United Health Group. Is it not in breach of anti-trust and/or unethical?
Is this game not available any longer? I can play any game but 5 Roll
I phoned United Healthcare last year during the open enrollment period. I asked them what would happen if I took no action because I wanted to keep my same coverage with them. They told me that if I did nothing, I would continue with the same plan. WELL LAST YEAR my plan included DENTAL benefits. This year it does NOT.
I remember in a previous magazine article that AARP was working on creating a database to help locate lost 401K accounts. What is the status of this? If it is still in the works, where would someone go to try and find out more information about a possible lost 401K account? Would you try and contact the IRS or Social Security?Thank you for your responseJim Mueller
I just opened up, charged and connected my Bluetooth speaker to my phone. Unfortunately the only sound that comes out of it is static 😞 It is connected but won't play sounds. What should I do?
I have found many articles and such (like finally finding these forums) but so very few have the "add to favorites" option. Why is this feature not more widespread on this site? Also, am I the only one that finds this site difficult to navigate? I'm quite computer savvy, but this site is extremely poorly put together. I hope it improves. Currently I'm not finding it very helpful and that's disappointing.
Sunday night at 9:24pm Central, and then Tuesday night at the same time, I received an email from AARP <AARP@email.aarp.org> with the subject "Richard, Action Required." The email looked official, and asked me to click on a link to confirm my email. I'm attaching a screen shot. I didn't click on the links, as I never click on messages of this nature unless I instigated the action of verifying my email (such as on a website when signing up for a service, when it immediately generates such messages). I then separately logged in to my AARP account, and checked that my email was properly recorded. Of course, I get about a dozen emails from AARP every week (mostly newsletters) so I already knew my email was good for the account. Are these legitimate emails from AARP? Why would they be necessary? If they are legitimate, this is not a safe practice for you to do. Thanks - Richard.
I just got billed $69 for Roadside Assistance I do not have anymore. I signed up a year ago but then canceled the membership when I sold my car. I have filled out a form on their website to tell them but am very upset that my original cancelation apparently did not go through. This is why I am chary about AARP and any annual membership. I absolutely hate these 'auto-renewal' things that surprise you. I don't have a car now and am retired on a fixed income. $69 makes a difference to me.
Greetings, I will no longer be using the AARP discount with Avis because I have documented where they have changed the amount I prepaid to create the math to not provide the refund I was owed for the difference between what I prepaid and what was owed. This was shocking, but not surprising because they have changed the math previously to not provide what I was owed. This time was so blatant because even while in the phone with there representative she continued to talk in circles about why the math was right even in the face of the evidence. I would advise AARP to review their partnership with Avis and where it not they are actually providing the discount and customer service that AARP members are entitled to.
I am livid. I recently changed cell providers to Consumer Cellular because it advertises, with AARP's help a 2 line for $55 price. I just got a full months bill and it is $72.50. I understand the various taxes entities charge, buy Consumer Cellular tacks on a $6.98 fee for "Operational Compliance." I've read several items that provide hazy and unclear info on what this is for, but apparently other cell companies do NOT charge this, or it's rolled into their basic charge so any discounts will apply to it also. I've also noticed my car insurance from Hartford, through AARP also going up rather fast. I am going to shop around for cell service and car insurance, and will probably discontinue my AARP membership which I am beginning to feel is nothing more than a pro business way to milk seniors. I've lost a lot of faith in you, and I'd like to hear from others who agree. Just respond to this, if you can, with the word Agree or Disagree...nothi
How do I remove previously approved avatars or photos that I have used in my profile?
Has anyone else been having a problem with the AARP app over the past month or so? Nearly every day the app crashes and will not allow me to log in. It says... "You've come to the right place, but there may be an issue displaying this page. Please try logging out and logging back in. Don't worry, we're here to help. Give us a call at 1-866-566-5394 and we'll take it from there." Yeah... GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! So I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app everyday to get around the problem! Using Google pixel 7
With the unfortunate demise of a senior UHC exec, it has become widely known that UHC has dramatically increased their rate of service denial, contributing greatly to their increased profits. If AARP is truly an advocate for seniors, it's time for AARP to sever their relationship with UHC and choose a more friendly insurance company.
