My “Personalized Video” has incorrect info. Now this is not a big issue by itself, but it now adds to a growing LIST of issues with the web site/information.  In this instance, the video starts by thanking me for being a member for 6 years, when the splash screen still displayed behind clearly indicates that I’ve been a member since year 2000. (FYI: Separately I’ve posted about being unable to opt out of third-party sharing, due to incorrect email format, which it is not.  Also, while I can earn rewards, I cannot redeem them for Sweeps, or Instant Wins resulting in over 50,000 points expiring since April).

FROM THE ARTICLE. Get some pointers on how to rent an RV, with tips on where to look and how to research. By Heather Mundt, AARP. Published May 03, 2024.➡️[*** Updated June 30, 2025. Albuquerque, New Mexico, couple Debbie and Max Kush had never considered RVing until a group of friends invited them on a camping trip in fall 2022. As a retired military officer, Max, 72, could rent an RV for the trip from the Kirtland Air Force Base for under $200.The available units were well-maintained, he says, but they showed some wear. Debbie noticed bloodstains on the couch, for instance, probably from hunters who often rent the travel trailers. And the bed was little more than a thin mattress on plywood. USE LINK BELOW TO READ THE ARTICLE. https://www.aarp.org/travel/vacation-ideas/outdoors/rv-curious/

Seniors.Welcome to your "Golden Years", where your aging benefits cost you gold prices. Increased 2026 Medicare rates, 30% increases in AARP / UHC Supplemental plans, $5500.00+ hearing aids, $8000+ a month Assisted Living rates. It is becoming obvious, the goal of our broken Medical system is to spend down the hard earned assets of the most vulnerable. AARP, if your mission of representing the elderly is one of sincerity, you might want to align your intentions with those providers who can deliver cost effective results. The rate of these price increases is unsustainable and will ultimately result in the demise of the provider base.

Hi, my name is Ron and I have been sober for  WHOOPS! wrong site!I live in central Ohio and I have been retired for 4 years. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has enacted a new policy governing international mail shipments, with key requirements scheduled to take effect on October 22, 2026. We have just learned that, under the planned implementation by CBP and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), virtually all prescription-medication parcels will be prohibited from entering the United States beginning on that date. What’s ChangingEntry will be prohibited if the medication being imported is commercially available in the United States — even when it costs significantly more — or if the supplying company specifically markets to Americans. These restrictions will apply to pharmaceutical parcels sent by pharmacies anywhere outside the United States. Taken together, they are expected to effectively close the personal-importation pathway that millions of Americans have relied upon for more than 25 years to obtain safe and affordable medications.

I hope no one is being misled by the $90 payment that has appeared in some of our bank accounts. While receiving extra money is always welcome, we must look beyond a one-time payment and consider the bigger picture. Many of us are living on fixed incomes and depend on Social Security and Medicare to maintain our financial security and quality of life. A one-time payment of $90 does not make up for the potential loss of Social Security benefits, rising Medicare premiums, increasing copayments, and the growing cost of everyday necessities. We must pay attention to the policies this administration supports and how they could affect the programs millions of Americans have worked their entire lives to earn. Social Security is not a handout, and Medicare is not a privilege. These are programs that hardworking Americans have paid into and depend on for their retirement, health, and dignity. We cannot afford to be distracted by a small, one-time payment while facing the possibility of much greate

Why do all the classes take place during working hours? And if they have to take place then, how can one access them after the fact? Are they recorded? Can they be streamed? If AARP is for people 50 and over, what makes you think the large majority of them are retired? Even though I am 73, I still work full-time. I am sure I am not alone in this.

When I submit my information to opt out of third-party sharing, it requires my email address along with other basic information but then REJECTS my email address - due to an incorrect email format. It is NOT incorrect. It is my email address that I’ve had for ~20 years.

What is the best way to start a game of Halloween Mahjong Solitaire? Focus on the tiles sitting on top of stacks and along the outer edges of the layout first. Removing exposed tiles creates more matching opportunities and helps reveal hidden pieces underneath. I keep getting stuck while playing Halloween Mahjong Solitaire. How can I improve? Before matching the first available pair, look for moves that unlock the greatest number of new tiles. A little planning can prevent dead ends and give you more options later in the game. Check out the FAQs here.

What is Halloween Mahjong Solitaire? Halloween Mahjong Solitaire is a Halloween-themed version of the classic Mahjong Solitaire tile-matching game. How do I play? Match two identical free tiles to remove them from the board. Expect festive icons such as pumpkins, ghosts, bats, witches, and other spooky surprises. Is this the same as traditional Mahjong? No. Mahjong Solitaire is a single-player matching puzzle inspired by Mahjong tiles

When will the Sept/Oct Bulletin, and the Oct. Magazine be mailed? I have not received either as yet.

My husband and I had used the AARP travel center several years ago for a complicated 3 destination trip. We had a fantastic service rep on the phone who found us great deals on flights and hotels, and clearly explained all aspects. Tonight we tried to book a 1destination trip needing flight, hotel, and car it took over 3 hours, multiple website fails, multiple phone calls to representatives who were unable to do much in the way actual assistance. After the 2nd fail we called and the rep who said the system was undergoing maintenance, this was around 5:30 PST (why didn’t the website have a notice about this vs letting customers waste their time??), and that he couldn’t assist us either. 45 min later, tried again, at that point the hotel was $200 more. Husband tried again and it seemed successful only to find out after purchase that the flight was NOT the one he’d chosen. He’d been trying to book a non-stop Delta flight leaving at early in the morning, looking at the itinerary it said we

They won't pay claims when their written policy says it is covered!  AARP needs to get away from UHC and find another Medicare advantage provider!!  When you try to talk to someone they bounce you around - the last call it was 10 different “advocates”!!

I look forward to EVERY October 15th when I get to SEE what my "current" Plan D provider will be CHARGING me for the NEXT YEAR.(1) Do you "check" the famous Medicare Site to COMPARE plans?(2) Or use another option like a Broker maybe?(3) I use to travel to my local office of aging to sit with them and do this. But moving forward, will be doing the comparison myself on the Medicare Site. I have ALWAYS had an "online" account since turning 65.Lol, wish me luck!!! 🤞Take Care,Nicole (Medicare Forum)

It looks like we need a new topic. So, I saw this elsewhere on the internet, and thought we might want to try it out here. You take two song titles with a common word or words, and then link them together to create a new title. For example: Band on the Run by Wings + Run Through the Jungle by CCR = Band on the Run Through the Jungle It’s okay to “recycle” or “reprise” song titles in various combinations.

Change a letter or a word in a song title to make it funny (not dirty).Type the correct title, then your funny one. I got the idea for this game after seeing some of my typos while entering song titles.  Will start with Fields of Gold - Sting Fields of Golf

Hi, I’m a real country girl. Love living with nature.  At 74, I’ve been there and done a lot in my lifetime.  I love painting, mainly watercolor, but have done it all. I did have a ceramic business and made dinnerware for several companies. Loved doing it, but circumstances changed and I had to sell it off. I also love sewing. Didn’t realize just how much I loved it until I got older.  Making quilts and other things now just really make my day!  I’ve got a few chickens now and between them and my dogs, they are my babies!!   They all have such personalities!
