Just got a set of AARP Prescription Discount cards, personalized with my name, through a program run by OPTUM RX, whoever they are.  These cards were sent with no request being made for them by me.  They were sent by AARP. These cards provide the following benefits: A DRUG FOR WHICH I PAY $80 FOR A THREE MONTH SUPPLY WOULD ONLY COST $1600+ THROUGH THIS WONDERFUL AARP BENEFIT PROGRAM!!!!!

AARP Lists a British Airways Discount of $200 per traveler when booking business class to Europe. I saved images from their web site to prove this fact. When I try to book through AARP I get the exact same price as booking directly with British Air. $8935.82. I called British Air, and they say it has to be booked through AARP. We called AARP support, and we were told that we have to book it online to qualify for the discount. We explained the problem to the agent that the site wasn't generating the advertised discount. The agent proceeded to hang up on us. We called back in again and got to talk to a different agent. This agent claimed that AARP has no such discount. We explained that it is on their web page right this minute. The agent kept insisting that they do not have such a discount and also hung up on us. While watching videos to garner some points, I keep getting a message that my account cannot be located, so I need to sign in again.  This happens over & over.  Since yesterday, I can't even log in again because the verifying moving letters don't appear at all.  This is extremely annoying!  I don't understand why suddenly and repeatedly my account can't be located, when just a moment before I was signed in.  And now there's no way to get signed in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you enter any of the monthly AARP Sweepstakes you may have noticed that they offer fifteen (15) sweepstakes each month to enter.  Well I have been going through the winners' list and not all 15 sweepstakes have been listed and this has been ongoing.  One has to wonder WHY are they omitted?   Has AARP been collecting the points from entrants for the now missing sweepstakes and keeping the points for their own organization?So for February 2025, only 10 out of the 15 sweepstakes have been listed.   The following five (5) sweepstakes still have NOT been listed:$100 Hotels. com giftcard sweepstakes (20 winners)$100 Walmart giftcard sweepstakes  (20 winners)$100 Air BnB giftcard sweepstakes  (20 winners)$300 Hopper.com giftcard sweepstakes (10 winners)$500 Royal Caribbean cruise giftcard sweepstakes  (5 winners)that is a combined total of 75 winners from these 5 sweepstakes not accounted for, not listed.   No mention of them- 

Since 4/3 I have played over 3,000 points playing AARP member games but never get awarded any points for playing. A pop up appears telling me "there is technical trouble, try again later." Of course I never get this notice until I have completed the game. I am wondering if this is a common problem and wondering what, if anything, can be done to correct this.

I won a Home Depot $10 gift card yesterday and I never received the confirmation email! Going through the posts here in the community posts, it looks like this is a common problem. I checked my spam email and it's NOT there either. I had this same issue about a year ago and it took over a month of "escalating" my case by customer service and a dozen efforts to contact AARP customer service before I ever received my gift card! I hope I don't have to go through this again to get my gift card, if so, it's NOT worth the effort! Anyone else having the same PROBLEM?

The major cell phone providers (except T-mobile) give a greater discount if you 4 or 5 lines.  As retired, empty nesters, AARP members typically have 1 or 2 lines.  It would be very helpful if AARP could negotiate w/ AAT & Verizon to allow us to obtain services at the 4 (or 5) line rate though we only have 1 or 2 lines. Thanks Rich

 I'm unable to purchase "MEMBER ONLY" gift cards. The "ADD TO CART" option is missing. I can only purchase non-member gift cards.  I have attached an image to show you.

My husband was the AARP member for several years.  He is now deceased. His membership is valid until March 2027.  How can I transfer his membership to my name?

Hi,I'm unable to purchase any gift cards that are labeled "MEMBER ONLY". There is no "ADD TO CART" option when I click on the card. I am able to purchase any of the other (non-member only) cards.

Hello I was supposed to receive Red and Gray Spider Splash Day Bag and instead got an open tote bag with a circle print on it hoping I can get the correct item sent. 

All the current gift cards are for $5... Why did AARP Rewards do away with the $10 gift cards like they used to offer for redemption?

     I got a notice about my auto insurance premium increase from Hartford:  80% increase for the coming year!  I talked to the agent at length, I have had this plan with them for some time, no at fault claims, and have bundled auto and home plan.  Changing my deductibles only reduce my rate by $50.  I am writing to the MA insurance commissioner but how did they approve the increase in the first place?  What are others experiencing, what recourse do I have?

To:  AARP- Sweepstakes:     Ok so I see that the Winners' list from the sweeptakes has been updated but I hope you realize that you only have ten (10) out of the fifteen (15) sweepstakes from February 2025 listed so I hope you plan on continuing to update that.    And now I see that there have been sweepstakes omitted from other months' sweepstakes winning lists...One has to question your motives with this,  are you keeping member points for your own benefit?    Things just seem really suspicious lately with your organization especially when I read through the other comments regarding other topics and problems.   

I have not been able to get any rewards -- even though I have north of 2.5 million points.  Chat has been useless,. Frankly, I had given up for nearly a month.  Thoughts maybe it was fixed.  I was wrong. shame on aarp.  Said coming for someone who has been a member for more a quarter of a century!

When AARP sent a letter to rejoin for a year the free welcome back gift was a free insulated trunk organizer . I am being told I’m getting something different . That is false advertising! You advertised the trunk organizer and that is what I want and should be getting. I should have known better because this happened the last time we joined .  I would rather be reimbursed my $15.00 for rejoining since you lied about the welcome back gift.
