Outback Steakhouse

Logging in today, I was greeted by this advertisement of an AARP benefit clearly showing a fillet Mignon. I ended my last review of the Daly City (borders on San Francisco) Outback with "It seems 'we can't win at this place. We've finally learned our lesson: We shall not return!"

I used Outback gift cards at this location a few weeks ago, I signed up for their loyalty program and got a free blooming onion but could not use it AND the AARP discount.  I now have a $5 credit from the loyalty and hoped to get a lunch soon, wondering if I use my $5 discount on that order, will I also get the AARP and if I do not use the $5 discount will I have a choice?  Expecting to have a second $5 discount to use on another visit with a visit soon...

@jserramcorder  I'm happy to hear you enjoy dining at Outback! You'll need to check with the restaurant on how to use the discounts. To see all our participating restaurants, visit: https://www.aarp.org/membership/benefits/restaurants/ and thanks for being a member!  Jodee R.

I went last week and ordered takeout and forgot there was the discount.  Maybe I will remember next time.

In our area (northern VA), Outback is about the only place where you can use an AARP discount.  The lunch specials are pretty good!
