So...What year were these on the shelves?  I think that'd be quite informative.

Played with these as a kid.  Can you imagine seeing something like this on the shelf today?  You could put someone's eye out! 🫣 Although we managed to stay unscathed. 😁  

When you got these, it meant no more blocks of ice and chipping ice with an ice pick.

A hassock, footstool, ottoman, or pouf. My parents used them to prop up their feet, or to place their knitting needles and yarn project, even newspapers. 🙂

P.S. Forgot about the cats... definitely made for cats. lol
