Have to believe that the Christmas duet by Bing Crosby and David Bowie was a very strange pairing.

Yet it’s now a well done classic.  The best is watching the video & seeing Bing’s disdain.

The late John Denver & Pavarotti sing “Perhaps Love.”

Tony Bennet & Lady Gaga have an entire collection of duets.

I always found the pairing of Bing Crosby and Sting (I believe) doing duet of Little Drummer Boy to be surreal!

It was David Bowie, not Sting. Many here, including me, have mentioned this odd pairing.

That was a strange pairing but also very beautiful.

I think you might mean Patti and Michael McDonald "On My Own".

Michael McDonald was from the Doobie Bros. Good duet, but not that surprising. I don't think Chris Kristofferson did a duet with Patti Labelle. I don't think Patti L did a duet with Chris Kringle, either. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
