Mister 🐱 is knocked out on my bed & so was I. Lol, we BOTH had insomnia last night!!! 😅 

But time for me to get my "walking" in. SO PROUD of myself for getting in my 10,000 steps YESTERDAY. And received my AARP Rewards Points too.

Rain "finally" left me here on my Virginia hill. 👍🙃🎉💃

TOMORROW starts a "busy" week for me including my YEARLY Medicare Eye Exam.

➡️[***CECILIA POSTED - Last Thanksgiving was spent with terry in the hospital. Hospital turkey was ok. Terry was very ill but I fed him and he was able to eat some. Little did I know that he would no longer be with me two weeks later😞. Then Christmas came and I was numb (as was the rest of the family). We spent Christmas at my son’s home and missed Terry a great deal. But we still celebrated because we knew that’s what Terry would want. This year I’m not sure where we will spend the holidays but we know we will be together. I miss Terry so much but I’m trying to enjoy life. - I’m very fortunate to have my amazing children and their spouses and grandchildren.

I have NO idea what his name was or how old he is. My boy 🤗💛 He gives me a REASON to get out of bed EVERY DAY = lol, got to "feed" him. It is about 6:10am ET here in Virginia. A RAINY day. ➡️[*** MY RESPONSE - My only child (daughter), my Extended Family (I live faraway from my daughter,my neighbors) & this group (since 2023). LAST YEAR 2025 my Counselor (few months). GRATEFUL Medicare paid her. Without them, I would NOT have made it. THIS YEAR 2026, finally having HOPE AGAIN after years of "existing" in a fog. Nicole 🤗💛

WE are getting to the END of "another" year.

(1) Any plans for Thanksgiving & Christmas?

(2) Any hopes/dreams/plans for the NEW YEAR that will be here in 3 months?

➡️[*** MY RESPONSE - Over the past years I have been "avoiding" these holidays while my "only" child (daughter) celebrated with her friends & extended family. That is what her dad wanted for her. Her moving FORWARD in spite of her grief. For the 1st time since losing him to COVID "unexpectedly" I am READY to celebrate BOTH holidays. As far as NEXT YEAR, lol - hoping for a BETTER ONE. Geez, last year December 2025, broke my ankle on Black Ice. At age 68, still having "issues" (2026) with swelling but GRATEFUL the cast (6 weeks) & walking boot (10 weeks) are off as of March 2026. Then ADD having to "replace" my car who was "family" (was in tears). Have NO idea what is AHEAD for me, but NOW able to find some JOY while still "missing" him. Nicole 🤗💛
