⛽️ What Are You Paying At The Pump? Any TIPS To Save On Gas?

I was in SHOCK yesterday when I happen to "glance" at the Kroger Gas Prices as I headed into store to get my Weekly Groceries.

Lol, trying to HOLD ONTO the half tank I now have.

Back BEFORE Gas prices started upward, I would Gas up once a month when I received my Monthly Retirement Social Security.

Now I am staying home & driving ONLY as required (food,medical).

Geez, are we stuck with NEVER seeing "lower" Gas prices? 🤔 I feel once the wars go away (if they ever), YES!!!

I am SAVING as mentioned above by staying home but TOTALLY BORED & really struggling with having to do this in my Retirement. But have NO interest in getting behind on things like rent, electric, car insurance and so on.

One TIP I read over the years is to COMBINE your errands when you can.

Another TIP I saw online was to LIGHTEN your load. I was "guilty" of carrying around stuff in my trunk I had forgotten about. The ONLY time I ADD anything to my vehicle is during Winter. Got to be able to either "dig out" or "wait for" my State Farm Roadside Assistance to arrive. Hope to NEVER be stuck. Too old to be out there "freezing" my a.s off. 😉

      $4.19 Kroger in Virginia. Lol, went DOWN a whole 1 cent!!! 😅

      My last fill up in Central Texas at Sam’s Club I paid   $3.44 a   gallon.  Oct .  8, 2026.

        $4.20 at Kroger here in Virginia. Then ADD 30 cents 🙃FF each gallon using the "points" I earn when I buy groceries there. I like that we can use these "points" for DISCOUNTS off food or gas. That would have been $3 off my groceries IF I had NOT used for gas. Now to HOPE it stays at this price or decreases. Lol, tired of staying home!!! 😅

        Your a little bit higher that south Florida, but you have some better stores like Giant, Kroger and Wegmans.

                      Filled up & got 30 cents off EACH GALLON at Kroger where I get groceries. Gas price is $4.29, I paid $3.99. Lol, still TOO HIGH!!! I want at least $3. 😉 Luv that I EARN points from shopping in store. These "points" can be used for a DISCOUNT on gas and/or store purchases. They DONOT ROLLOVER each month, so use them or lose them. You get to use the PREVIOUS MONTH'S TOTAL, then they are bye bye. And NO "combining" of months.

                      ➡️[*** The experts say to GAS UP IN MORNING. Have NO idea if it helps, but I do as I am hating the Summer Heat which is back since yesterday. Where is FALL Mother Nature? 😞 It is like we are down in the 40's overnight SOME NIGHTS, 50's SOME DAYS - then back up into 80's.
