Why hasn’t Aarp reached out to us about the now defunct Shyft Moving broker. We paid Shyft  over $10k for brokering a move from Md to Ga that included storage for 3 mo. Now it’s time to schedule delivery in Feb and I’m told by the moving co-Helix- that Shyft filed bankruptcy and they haven’t received a dime. aaro customer service just hung up on the call and said there was noone in the org  to even talk to about the situation. 

Just finished purchasing the Texas Roadhouse daily deal and the message popped up that I have reached the limit for the month.  The fine print still says FIVE per month!!  What's up? Thank!

I was just told by and online call center ADT rep that there is no active AARP discount with.  Does anyone have any different info?

 Hello,I need some information on how I can obtain a cheap or free disposal container to put my Flex-pens, needles, dexcom waste into and also how to turn them in to a facility or have someone pick them up at my home.  I don't want to continue putting them in my household trash.  I've went down the rabbit hole of google and even checked the FDA site and I can't find what I'm needing.  Does anyone have info on any discounts or someone that I could reach out to?  I live in WV, I'm 60 y/o and on a Marketplace insurance for now.  I have an extremely limited income and do not drive.  I want to do the right thing, of disposing of these correctly but can't figure out a good way to get it done.  Thanks, in advance for your assistance and have a ~Blessed Day.~

Am a current Walmart+ member, but membership renewal coming January 1st. Walmart+ has annual fee of $98.00, but AARP has $40.00 discount on this. Have tried numerous times to sign up for this discount through the AARP website, but keep getting the same message, "Looks like your're already a Walmart+ member" and will not allow me to fill out any form necessary or continue on. Have contacted Walmart+ several times and they are unable to do anything. Is there a fix for this? It is very frustrating as it is suppose to be a AARP benefit that we cannot take advantage of...

f Hello.  I need some help.  I'm wondering if AARP has information on Disposal containers for my needles and how to have someone come and pick them up at my home.  I do not drive and am on a very fixed income.  Are there any discounts or information that anyone can provide to me?  Note:  I am 60 years old and on a Marketplace insurance plan and not on Medicare or Medicaid.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I've tried googling but it's a mouse maze, trying to find out what I'm looking for.  Have a ~Blessed Day.~  

 I signed up with The Hartford AARP because of AARP.  I have auto and homeowners.  Unfortunately, the condo I rent in Michigan has had more than one water damage since I've had the Hartford Renter's insurance.  The Hartford has only given me the run around.  The home has been deemed uninhabitable and The Hartford has failed to reimburse one dollar.  I amount almost $20,000.00 staying at hotels and other additional living expenses and the Hartford has not paid anything.  I've reached out to AARP in the past to no avail.   Please help - this is a scam!

We got our auto coverage through Hartford and thought maybe we should bundle our home as well. However, after answering all the questions over the phone, I received a letter stating that Hartford is "unable to provide coverage for our property because the amount of coverage we would need does not meet their eligibility requirements". (I think the replacement cost of our home is too high. We bought our home a long time ago and property values in our area have just gone crazy.) I guess I understand, but it is really disappointing. 

I am on medicare. I am thinking about United Healthcare. I was told an option is Optimum. Except I looked it up and it's prescription only.  I am looking for insurance. Again I am on medicare and not medicare. Changing from Humana because pain doctor wants to do some procedures that Humana denied. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Shannon in Arizona

While obtaining my Quote for Auto Insurance from Hartford I was given the option to save money by enrolling in TrueLane, an App that monitors and scores your driving performance for safety. You obtain the discount immediately and it is adjusted later for unsafe driving scores if necessary. To register on the App you must wait for Hartford to issue you a code or something like that. I contacted their service twice asking for the information and never received what I needed to register on the TrueLane App. About one month later I got a bill for $65 which is the same as the proposed discount I would've received. The bill did have a note that I would be canceled if unpaid. I tried once more to get them to help me register but no response. After I returned home after a 2-week trip I opened a letter from Hartford. This letter was written in all CAPS sounding curt and angry informing me my Auto policy has been CANCELED and was effective 8 days ago. So, I was driving my car Uninsured for six d

A long time ago I unsubscribed from emails about AARP Rewards. They were a complete waste of my time.But today (12/5/25) I just received an email, Subject: Your AARP Rewards Account SummaryWhat is going on behind the scenes to keep telling me about Rewards?Note: I have a zero balance.

I don't know if AARP can help me but at least I can get my experience with Budget car rental out to AARP members. I used the AARP discount to rent a car from Budget in Asheville NC. One of their employees made a mistake when I returned the car and it got registered as being returned to a different airport. This quadrupled my charges. The manager at the budget Car rental agency admitted their employee made a mistake and in fact had done it three additional times that morning. I have made 10 phone calls and sent 10 emails with multiple documents in an attempt to have a refund of all the excessive charges. The manager admitted they made a mistake and she would correct the rental but somehow, she wasn't able to issue the refund. The customer service department at Budget has been horrible and to date they Haven't issued my refund. I would highly recommend AARP members avoid Budget and I would hope that AARP reevaluate its association with such a poor performing company.

Consumer Cellular MISS LEADS SENIORS. The ad says UNLIMITED TALK TEXT AND DATA. Unlimited meaning : Not limited or Restricted in terms of quantity, number or extent. They limit the high speed date after a short amount of data making your data EXTREMELY SLOW. When I called to ask about this the person said. " Its unlimited BUT..... Their is no But in unlimited..... Us seniors have enough to navigate in life with out being misled like this. My $55 plan has turned into $125 per line. Very Sad.

What other car insurance plans does the aarp offer. I have had The Hartford now for 3 years. Every renewal it goes up no less than 10% every 6 months. That puts me at over 20% increase per year.

 I like your Wordwipe game. Too bad - you can't access it on Apple or on Windows. I wanted to buy a gift card - it took forever, and I had to log on at least 10 times. Whoever you hired to "improve" your website did you wrong. If this is the way it is going to be, can I get a refund of my dues? I cannot recommend the AARP experience at this point. 

 Has anyone asked for a premium quote from fetch insurance?I have three pet the quote for the first one was $535.99 per month AFTER 10% discount... I almost didn't pay that much all last year at the vet for all three pets much less one... AARP this support for ripe-off companies like this has me questioning renewing my AARP subscription. Does no one vet these companies, or do you just let anyone who pays you pray on your subscribers... SHAME ON YOU AARP!!!

Why is aarp sending email and cards telling me to take the drivers safety class to MAYBE get a discount from my insurer? I took the class about two years ago. Even my State, Illinois, doesn't require a drivers test more than once in four years. The mailed card I got said to ignore it if I had taken the aarp drivers test within 90 days. Is aarp saying that if I took the test 91 days ago, I should consider retaking it to stay 'sharp' and perhaps maintain my insurance discount?I think the driver safety class, at $25.00,  mainly serves as an aarp profit opportunity. Spoiler (Highlight to read)Spoiler (Highlight to read)   

Is anyone else not able to link their AARP membership to the Jamba Rewards Program? The website does not allow me to log into the Jamba Rewards due to a CAPTCHA error. I'm new to the AARP program and not sure if member benefits don't get deleted/updated often from the site. If this is not a common issue is there a way of notifying/ reporting the issues to both Jamba or AARP?

I went through the AARP discount page to try and rent a Car in Seattle WA for two weeks.   The rate with the required fees was $100 more than just renting as a guest at the AVIS site.   So where is the 30% discount.   Both prepaid and not prepaid.     I got the exact same car and necessities (ex. unlimited Mileage) for a third less with Alamo.  AARP Benefit?   First time I tried to use an AARP benefit.  Not encouraging.
