Same guidelines as the original forum. The only difference is this is for oldies.I am setting the following rule:No songs beyond 1975 I'll start with a classic: When A Man Loves A Woman:  Percy Sledge I'm Amending this forum to allow the use of songs up to and including 1975

OkayThis is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this. You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - AerosmithYou look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easySo lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.Diane

Not sure if this has been done before (got tired of searching after 20 or 30 pages and search function doesn't always provide expected results).  List a song title with it's group/singer alphabetically. A - Z and start over. I think there should be a song somewhere for every letter. Any year is acceptable. Double postings are ok. Starting off with:    A Hard Day's Night  - Beatles   For the letters Q, X and Z:   When those letters come up, you may skip them and post the next letter. Or, you can post a Q, X or Z and post the next letter if you wish. Either choice is fine.

The premium is increasing from $63 to $150, what is AARP thinking?  This is ridiculous!  Open enrollment: please look at Wellcare Rx; you will be glad you did.

How about another game? We can even use the songs we use in the ABC's game.  The last letter of the last posted song will be the first letter of the next song. Reply to the start post of the thread.   If someone posts the same " first lettered" song at the same time, no problem.   No need to correct anyone.   Simply, use whatever the last letter of that posted song to post your title. Have Fun!

I looked this topic up and the thread was closed to replies. I thought to reinstate the thread and might have a chance for posting on a new thread with this new board. Any song about being old, getting old or youth is wasted (lol). Have fun!

Advanced Bridge is a competitive version of the classic card game Bridge, meant for skilled players.   What is the goal of the game? The goal of the game is to get the most points, winning two games before the other team can.   I don’t understand how to play Bridge. What do I do? Start by playing Bridge [link: https://games.aarp.org/games/bridge] at AARP Games, which will ease you into the terminology and rules of the game. When you understand the basics, come back to Advanced Bridge to test your skills!   Who is my partner in Advanced Bridge? Your partner is a skilled computer-controlled player.   Who are my opponents in Advanced Bridge? Your opponents are skilled computer-controlled players, as well.   I don’t want the game to give me tips. Can I turn that feature off? Yes. On the top bar, there is a toggle for “Enable tips” that you can click on and off.   Can I see a bidding recap? Yes. Click the menu button in the top right of the screen. From

Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7, 2026.  Let's talk about it! If you're enrolled in Medicare, now is a good time to review your coverage and make sure it still meets your health care needs and budget for 2027.Even if you're happy with your current plan, it's worth taking another look. Costs, prescription drug coverage, provider networks, and benefits can change from year to year.Making Medicare decisions for ourselves is hard enough, and many of us who are caregiving are also helping loved one make their Medicare decisions (or making them for them if they are unable and we have the appropriate powers of attorney). It’s a lot of pressure! The good news is that AARP has GREAT resources to help you understand your options and make informed decisions. Not sure how to get started - check out these resources:Everything You Need to Know About Medicare Open Enrollment – Understand what you can change, important deadlines and what to consider when comparing plans. Making our own Medicare decisions is challenging enough, and then some of us also help our loved ones choose their Medicare plans (or do it for them). On top of all the other caregiving tasks there can be a lot of pressure around choosing Medicare plans - it’s so complicated and confusing! AARP has resources to help. Check out my post in the Medicare forum here in the AARP Online Community HERE:You’ll find a list of resources - and if you have questions that aren’t answered in the resources, I can get help from our Medicare experts!!  Take care,Amy GoyerAARP Natl. Last few days have been getting this error when trying to login:AARP will be performing maintenance on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM ET until 12:00 PM ET. The AARP Rewards site will not be available during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Large delays in posts showing up.  Song threads are unplayable when this happens.  What’s going on?

Can you explain what is happening to Xarelto coverage in 2027 Medicare? It seems that in my zip code =12589, Ulster County, only CVS is providing coverage for 20 mg.

Lol, I need to keep an "eye" out. 😅 I usually "check" email whenever I think about it. [Wednesday 9/30/26]Last year 2025, the Health App on my Android Cell Phone (Samsung through T-mobile) worked for awhile. I was one happy camper. 🙃Then AARP posted they were NO longer dealing with the app I was using on my cell.Meanwhile I have read over the years on this site the challenge of FINDING AN APP THAT DOES WORK WITH AARP SETUP.Anyone have any "luck" with finding one? 🤔I walk 1/2 hour EVERY DAY & it sure would be "nice" to EARN AARP Reward Points when I have "enough" miles in. When I was EARNING Points, I would walk LONGER each day. Lol, YES, it was an "incentive" to get my old body moving. 😅Thanks,Nicole (Healthy Living Forum)

Is anybody else experiencing false readings on TrueLane? I keep getting hard breaking reading and having points deducted when this happens. I can drive 50-100 trip without any driving issues and not receive any added points but if the app thinks I’m hard breaking it deduct 2-3 points off my score. Is this app rigged??? I think it is.

I posted a few weeks ago about this but it seems to have disappeared.  In early August I scored 25M on Jewel Shuffle.  It never posted to the leaderboard.  I am not a regular gamer but I have never found that there is a time frame to complete the game.  Today I scored 10M and again it did not post.  Anyone else have issues like this?  It was posting for me earlier but ever since I scored above 4M it has not posted.

I just started using the SafeTrip app today. I got low scores for “hard braking” as well as rapid acceleration. I have an EV, so braking is mostly done using one-pedal “regen”. I do not feel that I had to actually brake hard on my trips, despite the description of what the app considers “hard braking”. I think it is not taking this features of EVs into account. Also, rapid acceleration is actually a safety feature. To be be able to merge safely, rapidly accelerating into the next lane helps prevent other cars from having to react to a slow merge. Again this is more of an EV issue because of their quick acceleration ability.

whats with the new ads suddenly knocking the  game off the screen in middle of play

Just got my statement with the news about our WA state Public Employees Benefit Board UHC Complete Medicare Supplement Insurance premium increase for 2027 - for coverage of my spouse and myself monthly premium is going from $434.81 to $679.30.  I saw AZ was going up 30% what is the situation in other states and why is it so different from one to another?

Bigger is better—sometimes. If you use all six of your tiles on one word, you'll get an automatic 50-point bonus. But that's not the only way to gain an advantage. Look carefully for open x2 and x3 tiles, which double or triple the letter (if it's a blue tile) or word (if it's a red tile). And look extra carefully for when those tiles can create two separate words. Do that and your bonus will be counted twice! Try Outspell today!
