What's your favorite way to earn or redeem AARP Rewards points?

I enjoy doing the games (the short crosswords, suduko, word wipe, etc), but not the trivia.

The weekly video and "things this week" multiple choice are informative. 

I try to enter the iwg's daily and earn enough from the games that I do to earn a little more than I use.

When the morning news is "interesting", I will run shorter videos, when boring, I do the multiple choice.  When I get to 84,000 pts, (enough to redeem for the most expensive 3 gc's)  I don't do as many activities.

Filtering (earn frequency,videos,quizzes and so on) the EARN ACTIVITIES "listed" on the AARP Rewards Site has helped me to SAVE TIME.

Earn Frequency finds the DAILY, WEEKLY & MONTHLY activities & groups them together. 😉

Videos I can "listen" to while doing something else. 👍

Quizzes are for days I am home ALL DAY & bored./lol 😅

➡️[*** WW POSTED - You can do the weekly ones starting on Saturday night or it might be Friday night, anyway I was doing those on a weekly basis and only a few maybe 6 are 10 minutes while most are under 3 minutes.  I start with today’s offers like page 2 on Oct 2 or page 3 on Oct 3, etc, do as many of those that work for me, then the weekly.  I usually got through the weekly plus whatever was on today’s and 2 days leaving the other 5 days for a mix of quiz, calculator, games and video.  I stopped doing the 1000 point ones because too many times it failed on me and I did not get anything.  Able to get my daily quota in less than 2 hours.

Lol, getting "smarter" with all this!!! Finally figured it is "wisdom" to MIX in the TOO LONG VIDEOS (daily earning activities) with the SHORT VIDEOS (monthly activities) & QUIZZES (monthly activities) each day. Up until now, was "flying" through the short videos & quizzes at beginning of EACH MONTH. Then stuck with the DREADED 10 minutes or more videos. Not enough short videos & quizzes to take me to the END OF EACH MONTH. 😞 And to get through the LONG VIDEOS, I turn off the "volume" & check on them as I pass them doing my chores or something else (fun). This way I have a "daily" life ALL MONTH that includes MAXING OUT without feeling I have returned to my job (retired)./lol 😀

Thank you SO MUCH Renate ​@RenateW69623 !!! I am working on earning points right now & really rather be doing something else. But I do want to be able to do 10 entries daily for the Staples Sweepstake they have this month. Lol, maybe I will get lucky. 🤞 I keep HOPING they will post KROGER like they did PUBLIX. Publix just opened here in my area of Virginia. Going to be very "interesting" to see WHAT Kroger & Walmart does. Lol, competition. 😉 Take care my friend, Nicole 🤗💛

➡️[*** RENATE POSTED - Reset time is 12AM ET, so daily videos reset every day at 12AM ET (I am CT, so this is actually 11pm for me).  Weekly videos reset at 12AM ET Sunday (again, 11PM Saturday for me in CT).  Monthly videos and quizzes reset at 12AM ET on the first day of the month.

And I also wish they had more “short” daily videos. I only do the 3 “short” ones that they have right now.

Still learning after joining the AARP Rewards Program May 2025.

(1) I luv the DAILY "short" videos, only 3. The rest are very long. I believe these RESET after 12 midnight ET every day. But maybe wrong??? Anyone know - thanks!

(2) The WEEKLY "short" videos seem to RESET at some point today/Sundays. Lol, I knew I did them YESTERDAY/Saturday - but able to do them at the moment. SO GLAD there is only 3 more days left in this month = MONTHLY "short" videos reset October 1st.

*** Trying to MAX OUT with points BEFORE they reset at 12 midnight ET tonight but NOT looking good = DONOT feel like watching the "very long" videos. Wish they had MORE quizzes. An easy way to earn points.
