Tell us about yourself
I moved to Alaska in 1974 and worked as a biologist during construction of the Trans Alaska Pipeline. After the pipeline was constructed I worked as a marine biologist protecting endangered whales during oil and gas exploration and development. I like almost anything to do with the great outdoors; fishing, camping, canoeing, hiking, berry picking, exploring new areas, and photography (I am a very poor photographer). After I retired from being a biologist I started and operated for 15 years a small home-based plant nursery and grew a wide variety of flowering perennials. I like to travel and have been in many far off places in the world.
