The first thing to come to mind was Greensleeves old English Folksong close : )

How about "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstat, or "Blue Suede Shoes" by Elvis Presley or maybe even "Rainbow Connection" by the Muppets.

Those are 3 good suggestions. I think Blue Bayou has already been mentioned, also Carl Perkins' rendition of Blue Suede Shoes. But your's is first mention of Rainbow Connection, I believe. That song is a favorite of mine!
