Songs About Games, Games People Play
So here's a song topic that I don't recall us having played - Songs about Games. What songs can you think of about games, mentioned or implied, of any sort in the title or lyrics?
So I'll start with this one as sort of a "blanket" title - - -

Back in the day, THE SPINNERS had a song called "Games People Play"; (aka: "They Just Can't Stop It (The Games People Play)". It began with a piano/trumpet lead-in to the vocal which went:
"Can't get no rest, don't know how I work all day.
When will I learn? memories get in the way.
I walk around... can't hear a sound - folks talking loud... but I
Don't see at all. I gotta get away, gotta get away, I don't
Know where to go, it's hopeless so, I guess I'll leave it alone...."
Then comes a second verse, which leads to the Bridge:
"GAMES PEOPLE PLAY, NIGHT OR DAY THEY'RE JUST NOT MATCHIN',
WHAT THEY SHOULD DO, KEEPS ME FEELIN' BLUE,
BEEN DOWN TOO LONG, RIGHT WRONG I JUST CAN'Y STOP IT
SPENDIN' ALL DAY, THINKING JUST OF YOU...."
As you can probably tell, this was one of my favorite songs of all time. GTT

Almost any song by Fleetwood Mac- a group that I love but here goes-
The Chain, Little Lies, Second hand news, Gold dust woman, I don’t want to know- basically the whole Rumours album lol. Genesis is big for them also- In too deep, No reply at all, That’s all. Also Dirty deeds done dirt cheap by AC/DC.
And Drive my car by the Beatles. Games adults play have yielded tons of songs!
