Same Title, Different Song

Maybe this will be interesting. So this topic was inspired by a YouTube video that I saw the other day. It’s called “most overused song titles” by David Bennett Piano. He lists the top 15 using Wikipedia and Spotify as sources.

https://youtu.be/vmQ1Qoy0OgY

If you don’t want to watch the 12 minute video, here is his list.

  1. Hold On       309
  2. I Want You   145
  3. Breathe        128
  4. Home           106
  5. Without You  103
  6. Stay                98
  7. Forever           94
  8. You                 90
  9. Angel              88
  10. Heaven           81
  11. Believe           60
  12. Paradise         59
  13. Crazy              56
  14. Gone               54
  15. Love                44

Also listed in the viewer comments were Rain @ 61, and Time @ 47.

What songs do you think of with the same title? If you have favorites in the above list, go ahead and list them if you like. That’s cool. 😎

I’ll open with this pair:

Dream On - Aerosmith

Dream On - Nazareth

We Can Work It Out

  • The Beatles
  • Night Ranger

The Night Ranger song is likely a nod to The Beatles. There are Beatle influences throughout the song, as well as much of their music.
