SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

OOPS, a double post! The AARP software told me I had committed an error, so I re-typed my post and then, low and behold, both posts were displayed and they, of course, were identical. I don't get it. But then again, I never have.  🙂

AARP is currently in process of "improving" this website.  So right now things can get a little weirder than usual when trying to post, & moving around the site is slower than we have been accustomed to.  They hope to finish up the improvements/changes within the next few weeks, I believe.

Meanwhile, one of these days you might finally "get it" - I look forward to that!   (Just kidding...Smiley Wink )

Love Will Keep Us Together, by the Carpenters.  I heard this so often when my daughter was a young teen.  I enjoyed the Carpenters' music, but I am sad whenever I hear it, thinking of Karen's death at such a young age, What a waste of a life ~ what a loss of her sweet, clear perfect pitch!

So sad!

I had posted "Call Me" by Blondie.  Then a new poster did 3 posts in a row & managed to put song title(s) in incorrect area of posting box, best I can figure.

A beautiful old song, written by Scotland's National Poet, Robert Burns, based on a folk song he heard once in his travels.  I love folk songs, and I like a lot of Burns' poetry, as well.
