SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

I think you are referring to "Put Yourself In My Shoes", by country singer Clint Black...?

There really is a song called "If I Were In Your Shoes, I'd Walk Right Back To Me" .  It's on the list of worst country song titles.

dragons3:  I could find the list of worst country song titles that you have mentioned, and I could find the song title, "If I Were In Your Shoes, I'd Walk Right Back To Me", on that list. However,  with further internet searching, I could not find the performer.  Can you?

I found two songs by non-country artists titled "If I Were In Your Shoes", one by You Me At Six, and the other by Liza Minnelli.  Neither of those songs contains the line, "If I were In your shoes, I'd walk right back to me".

I had mentioned the Clint Black song, "Put Yourself In My Shoes", because it was a very popular country song in 1990, hitting #4 on the US country chart.  It contained the line, "If I could only put myself in your shoes, I'd walk right back to me."   With it being such a popular song, it seems likely that someone might remember a "catchy" line from it.  So, that is why I mentioned the Clint Black song...

gatorgorilla -- I looked, but couldn't find a performer listed anywhere for "If I Were In Your Shoes, I'd Walk Right Back To Me", either.  I didn't really look for one the first time.  I just had to google that title because it seemed so unlikely to be a real song title.  When I found it on that list, I didn't look any further.  This time I  checked the BMI database and there is no such song title listed.  However, there are 7 songs titled "If I Were In Your Shoes".  Your explanation is the most likely one.
