Gift card limit question

Hi there! Can anyone kindly clarify this for me? When a gift card award has the one-time limit, does that mean I can't get another of that particular card ever, or per day, or...?

Thanks much for any info!

[7/28/26] @IngridK239959 , it means you can ONLY get that card ONE TIME.

You will be able to get "similar" cards when NEW ONES are posted.

Now, I have heard some BUSINESSES do "restrict" us to ONE CARD forever. Luckily I have NOT run into those.

Anyone else have anything to ADD to what I posted?

Just because you see a gift card tile that is labeled NEW does not mean you will be able to redeem for it. The restriction to only one may still apply.

Now if you see a gift card for more or less points than the one you used previously, then YES you will be able to redeem for that card. The caveat here is the card must be offered for more or less points then any previously redeemed gift card. As for a time limit on redeeming another gift card with the restriction limited to only one still in place, and the points requirement and value, are the same as before,,,WHO KNOWS !!!
I have gift cards that were tagged

“PURCHASES ARE LIMITED TO ONLY ONE” that are almost a year old, which makes them almost worthless.

GOOD LUCK

Sometimes the new year allows you to redeem for that card,  not always.  Re using only one card—the multitude of Harry and David (there are something like 8 companies under the same umbrella)—I had several and thought I would do one order using all of them because their website does say that—however, if you are doing the online order yourself, you can only use one per order $5 hardly makes a dent when you may have a minimum of something like $50 —I called them and was told if you order over the phone they allow you to use several.  There may be a limit and this was several years ago so it may have changed.  I gave not had any problem using more than one in store for several places.  I recall seeing on the back of one of the airline companies that it was limited to a given amount.  Again this was several years ago.  You may want to contact the vendor and ask.  But don’t take their word as gospel truth.  I had kohl’s gift cards and was not a member, I got on chat and asked them if I make a purchase today then decide I want to be a member can my purchase that day qualify, told yes, when it was said and done they said no.  I told them I have the chat your employee said this could work, they did not pursue it or honor their own employees word.  Needless to say I do not have good things to say about kohl’s.
