Still worthwhile and capable

Remaining proud and dignified when you have nothing tangible to prove you aren't just taking up space seems to be getting harder and harder for me as time marches on. 

Yes, it's true that I'm not as strong, as fast or able to do all the things I could to the extent I was able to when I was younger...but that doesn't make me obsolete, incapable or useless  ..
