I have two suggestions for the AARP website team, regarding renewals. First, when I logged in to renew, there was no way to renew without turning on Auto-Renew! That was really annoying. (I ended up using a URL from a mailer that bypassed the Account page.)
Second, please give us the option of saying "no" to the renewal gift. I don't want another bag or whatever. I'd rather you take the expense to create and ship it to me and donate it to someone who needs it.

Give them to your library or school, churches, or civic organizations, if you don’t want them! So no, I will not just say no to the free gift, cuz’ you don’t want one. You’re asking them to change their website to have an option to allow you to say no, seems like a lot of work to appease that! Good luck with that.
As far as auto renewal goes, I only renew via USPS mail, and never auto renewal, and never any problems.
