Movies & TV

Few threads on TV & none on movies in the Entertainment section.... strange.

There used to be a Movies & TV Forum under Entertainment.  It disappeared B4 Politics and Society.  And I don't remember getting any emails about it...just logged in one day and it was gone.

Well, if anyone has seen a new movie at home or theater and would like to offer their review -  there is this thread I started ----> New Movie Review - AARP Online Community

Only two folks responded so far. 😶 I guess our demographics are too busy with shopping, doctors appointments, caregiving or just out on a cruise  😎 , etc....

When I think of it - most times "forums" are places where people either 'complain - the complaint/ something wrong department' or praise/ indulge their particular subject matter.

Anyhow, AARP does offer some free movies  ----> See All Movies for Grownups Screenings | AARP Movies for Grownups Screenings

..... which got me started with creating this thread after seeing 'Raiders Of the Lost Ark' - which I hadn't seen in long while - since the VHS years. Watching/ streaming in digital/ DVD quality - nice. 😊  No blockbuster run, no rental fees - just sit home and watch for free.

Since then have seen 'Back to the Future' and few other PBS-like documentaries.

A nice comedy that is coming up is 'Death Becomes Her' on Oct 31 - darn funny 😆.

😎

I get any newer movies from the Library on DVD & stream all the older Gallo Horror, & Poliziotteschi, & cult I used to see at the Drive-In's.

Nice thread, a shame it got buried.   Unless I individually bookmark these threads they seem to disappear.

Must be in those archive threads I don't have access to.

Politics & Society, that a forum section?  It's hard following threads and seeing where new postings are here.   I don't understanding this tagging thing.
