Achieve a 7-Figure Score in Lumeno
@StephenL855985 is a Lumeno player who regularly scores between 2-3 million and suggests these strategies for boosting your score:
- Play to leave as many boosts and arrows on the board as possible after each move regardless if it produces the highest score reduction. You must maintain the ability to have good moves for the next turn so don't wipe out the board even if you can.
- Continue to choose long ball chains over point reduction moves because it will produce more boosts and flowers for future moves.
- Look at the board carefully when eliminating balls to make sure your next move is set up for a good play.
- Always try to choose at least four ball chains at a minimum because this guarantees at least one additional flower or boost next move.
- You can keep your finger on the mouse to see the point reduction before releasing the play and then back up and try another combination, so that way you can try multiple moves before deciding which one will produce the most advantageous score.
- After a chain of seven balls you get two additional boosts or arrows and after a chain of 17 you get an additional 4 or 5 per move.

I just played Lumeno for the first time. But I had no idea what I was doing. I've looked all over for some clear instructions about the various aspects of the game, but haven't found much. Apparently, there's something called a "high score reduction" but I can't figure out what that is or how you encounter it. My one game ended with a statement that there were no more moves, but I could see more moves so I don't really know what ends the game. I've run into this same issue with other AARP games -- bare minimum details about how a game is to be played. I'd like to know all the rules BEFORE I start to play.

Don't forget to click on the "ADD + 5 MOVES" prompter (be on the alert! - it's tricky! with either a orange or white background, not the usual one that simply indicates the free five shots after each round) that pops up immediately after a round is through - usually shows up after every 4-5 rounds or so. Instead of the usual 5 bonus shots awarded, you'll get ten extra shots! Biggest point booster I know, have had as many as 103 shots stacked up. Have also found that combining the vertical and horizontal arrows in one string counts for a lot more points in general. Always poke around with the order in which you string things together, sometimes a different approach to the "attack" makes for a significant increase in points. Actually destroying the nearby upgraded orbs will score you more points, so there are compromises to be made. Be patient & methodical, experiment a little bit, & make sure you're physically comfortable while you play - & don't take it too seriously. 🙂 If it matters, my high score is 2,118,000,000, (over a billion - & I've seen people score five times that much). Sometimes takes a few days of play to reach such a score, a couple of hours at a time. Usually make the top ten on the leaderboard for the entire month so am hoping that lends some credence to what I'm suggesting. I see the same people scoring so consistently low, & am guessing they just haven't experimented enough with how the game works.

The "Add+5 moves" is wonderful--if you can get there in time. I don't know about anyone else but aging has made my reflexes a little slower. I wish they could add 2 or even one second to the time it stays on the screen...would make a big difference!

⬇️Bump! ⬇️
Hello, @AARPLynne [Lynne].
Is Lumeno going away? I see this banner when I play...'LIMITED TIME! Preview Lumeno until 6/14/23. Play this fun and relaxing game now!.'
Thanks!

@AARPLynne >>> In addition to my inquiry above, check out the top (rank 1) score today... 10 Million. How does one achieve such a score? Is this doable? 🤔 (Thanks!)
