Hallelujah! I'm still dealing with banking issues. The new branch contact didn't respond to my phone message yesterday. The person that answered the 800 number yesterday tried but couldn't help me. That person did however, put in an order for another department to assist me and lo and behold I just looked online and my problem has been resolved! Hurray!!

Today I stepped away from my grief to see needs in others. I helped a man with limited vision and assisted a group of people who were lost in a garden. When I got home I contacted a family member for a chat. I am celebrating positive human contact!

I don't know if it's good or not but it is one more thing to check off the list. I signed all of the papers at the attorney's office today. Everything needed to be redone because of my husband's passing and I think they are all back in order now.

This weekend I went to our annual regional competition. Hotel rooms overlooking the ocean, singing with my chorus, catching up with friends I've made through our organization, and of course getting medals for our hard work.

Last week, I baked some cookies and brought them to neighbors, one is grieving and the other is recovering from a broken hip.

Today, I studied the French language for fun.  J'ai un petit chien.  Il est tres joli. 

And he is a French poodle!

So GLAD I "walked away" 🥳💃 from someone I thought was my "big brother" on this site.

TODAY (6 months of knowing him) on this site he CONFIRMED my decision was the CORRECT one by his actions. 👍

It takes a lot to get me out of the house. But 

yesterday I went to my youngest son’s girlfriends

college graduation party. It was an outside affair

and I met many women my age from her family.

Almost all of them were widows and we found

we had a lot in common. It was so nice, like on

here, to be able to talk with people who 

understand how you feel. We gabbed for

hours and tried some dancing to the music lol.
The food was great as well. And so proud of

Haley as well. It was, for me, the first good day

My daughter and myself went on a weekend cruise with our boys (lol, other half). They treated. So NOT into the Florida heat. 😭 = NO barbecue for this diva. 😉
