I tried today to rent a car with budget. Their site is horrible. I created an account and it loses my password every time even though I use a password manager. When I do finally get logged in, my rental doesn't show up in my profile. I have to look it up outside their system. Then I tried to contact the local desk and they won't answer the phone, but the reservation line can't connect me to them either. It took many calls to get the local manager's email address and get a question through. I would recommend not using them until they fix these issues. Horrible experience. and I didn't save 30 percent either. Expedia outside of AARP pretty much has the same deals.

All I can say about this is that every year when I planned vacation, I rented a car. Year in and year out the one with the best deal was Avis.
Remember their old ad, we're #2, we try harder.
I believe Avis owns Budget, as well as Payless.
