Thank you for making this decision easy for me.   I will be ending my membership due to your deception when it came to not one but two decreases in Carnival Gift Card benefits.  First the Carnival Cruise discount went from 10% to 8% and now it’s only 5%.    That was one of the better benefits I actually used  and now it’s basically gone. Thanks for nothing.

    Just to add to my complaint, when you throw in the cost for the AARP membership, I basically only save $5 on a $500 gift card.

      This is also why I won’t need to renew when it comes time. I don’t use any other benefits from it.

      100% agree. All the new restrictions and reduction in benefits make AARP membership so much less useful. It's even more disappointing since the reduction is only Carnival. All of the other cruise lines have remained 10% off.

        Oh man I can’t wait for the YouTube bloggers to put this out there that they’re no longer available, all the non renewals from carnival customers gonna have AARP scrambling lol!

          Yup...Same, here I think this was the true issue when I was trying to buy GCs for Carnival Cruise lines a month or so ago. Thank goodness I found out about Cardcash with a 7% discount as of this posting for the GCs.

            I’m skeptical of cardcash but also just came across it. Did the gift cards on there actually work? I wasn’t sure if it was a legit site and I don’t want to get scammed.

            It is now gone.  Unless they bring it back, Carnival gift cards are not available

                wE JOINED BECAUSE OF THE CARNIVAL GIFT CARDS TOO. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I CANT FIND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD BENEFIT ME. FLIGHTS AND HOTELS ARE ANY CHEAPER GOING THRU AARP.

                  I used a few Carnival gift cards from AARP Rewards without any problem—just applied them one after another during checkout on the Carnival site. One thing that worked for my trip was pairing digital memories with a frame from https://www.nixplay.com/ to show cruise pics back at home. The cards showed up in my inbox quick, and I used them right away without needing to wait.
