Great idea. My 70-year old sister in Colorado did the same for the children in her neighborhood today and was well-rewarded. The kids came over and shoveled the snow from her walkway and driveway. Happiness all around!

With COVID still an issue, my husband and I will order a delicious meal and then cuddle up with a blanket, a roaring fire and watch a good movie. That's pure heaven for us!

My wife and I were both members of the Air Force when we met.  We were both stationed in Grand Forks, ND.  As we were dating and then married, I would always buy a Valentine's Day Heart filled with milk chocolate fruit creams from a candy store in the downtown area.  As the Air Force moved us around every 3-4 years, regardless of where we were in the world, I would always get her a box of her favorites chocolates from that candy store in Grand Forks.  Grand Forks bring back a lot of good memories at an earlier stage in our lives.

I will take the time to remember my husband and what we would have done on Valentine's Day. My husband passed away in September 2020, so on Valentine's Day, I will prepare his favorite meal and listen to our favorite song (Heavenly by the Temptations) and sit and reminisce about the love we shared together.

awww. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray you will be comforted in his absence through the memories you both shared, by hearing a whisper of his voice and a warm invisible hug from him. I'm sure he loved you very much and I hope the love you shared will be felt 10x over on Valentine's Day. God bless.

Thanks for those encouraging words.  We had a love like no other. We were married 32 years but had been together for 40 years. We shared a lifetime of love together. I pray you enjoy Valentine's Day with the one you love. Stay safe and God bless.
