Rewarding Moments: What motivates you more: sweepstakes entries or guaranteed rewards?

Certainly guaranteed rewards, but in the case of restaurants, current rewards are no better than I can get from a free coupon elsewhere, so why make the effort to earn points? 

also, limiting restaurant gift card purchases to five dollars doesn’t really reduce your bill that much and creates the perception that the value equation favors the restaurants rather than AARP members.
