Saving money these days is almost mandatory due to inflation. AARP helps with points and the ability to trade in or use toward gifts/ prizes. These make a difference- whether $5 or more... I also give them to family to help them out... Watching my spending overall and being aware of needs vs wants is important. Today it is difficult to save but if you look overall at little things - that is a start
Hello, AARP rewards gift cards of five dollars and occasionally ten dollars made me realize that saving money as well as time was important. Now I just buy gift cards from stores and not worry about Internet, copy paper, and bulk five ten dollars gift cards in my bulky purse. Thanks AARP
By using AARP Rewards, I can earn up to 3 gift cards a month which helps with the budget. I get to try some places for lunch or dinner that I may not have tried before. Also with gift cards to places like Lowe's, I was able to purchase some household cleaners at a discount, and a CVS card to buy some paper for my printer at home. It would be nice if grocery stores offered gift cards again.
Hello to all who love AARPโs reward program!
I most definitely do! Itโs pretty awesome and thereโs a tremendous amount of value and discounts to be had! I hope to one day fully participate in the goodness thatโs available to all members, like discounted ocean cruiseโs and train rides to beautiful places.
In the meantime I do enjoy maxing out my points at 7500 per day and playing all 7 instant win games for fun and of course the chance of winning a $10 GC! Iโve won quite a few over the last 2ish years and they really help out on budgets of any kind one might have. Also combining a $10 GC with an app the discounts and freebies start to add up! Especially with Dominoes, Chipotle, BK and will use eventually IHOP, 5Guys and ShakeShack!
A few of these places I would never even of tried because the prices, imho, are ridiculously too expensive for what youโre actually getting. Like Panera Bread, Papa Johnโs, even Jamba Juice. But thanks to AARPโs reward program I get to try all of them!
My favorite part is being able to redeem points for 3 different things every single month! Magazine subscriptions, streaming channels, gift cards. I really miss the physical items that used to be available for redemption with points every single month, well at least the 1st year I was here. They sold out quickly and were always promised to be re-stocked but honestly I never saw that happen! If you were on the app at the right time it was yours to be had. At one point they had seasonal large gift boxes with a ton of goodies in them for only 50, 60, 70 thousand points! Worth more for sure! I think I got 2 outta 4, they were awesome. The very last two items I ordered in 2023 never even showed up, sad. Points refunded but I wanted what I ordered. One was a clear sort of storage box/suitcase to hold your crafting supplies/tools, the other were a pair of cool black and red cloth cube containers. I hope they bring back the goods one day. At least last year there was one to be had. The mystery item. It was a red mini backpack or bag.
Back to the points I like to throw a monthly 4000 to help the seniors re-connect or the other one about making some wishes come true. For a while I tried out the sweepstakes max 10 entries per day but nothing ever materialized. Hopefully one day. I play a little near the end of the month.
Probably the best part of the rewards program is having the ability to purchase those GCโs that go on sale daily from 12-2 pm at extremely discounted prices. $50 cards for only $35? WOW! Awesome! Even the $25 cards for $20โฆ.incredible! Iโve bought a few but not the best ones yetโฆ.most recent one was BK $15 card for $12, and dominoes cards w/similar discounts.
Thank you AARP, for helping me with lowering my bills in this extremely difficult inflation situation thatโs taken over the world. It needs to stop. Now.
first of all I learned so very much from using AARP app and I have used gift cards and received gift cards free from using the app.
as a matter fact, most of my Christmas presents in 2024 were purchased on a gifted card from AARP.!!!
I enjoy playing games earning points and saving money with AARP.
I log in to my AARP account daily to earn points by completing quizzes and watching videos. I love how easy it is to purchase gift cards or redeem points for instant wins and I always add them directly to my Apple Wallet so theyโre with me at all times, ready to use. Recently, I redeemed multiple Chiliโs gift cards and treated a friend to lunchโ totally covered by my points. AARP rewards makes it easy to enjoy life and treat myself (and others) while sticking to my budget.
