Senior mother caring for Senior child
I am 57 years old and still working full time, living on my own. My sister is 54, in poor health, and lives with my mom. Our mother is soon to turn 81, in reasonably good health, or at least has way less medical issues than her youngest daughter. Are there any benefits from SSI or anywhere for my mother, since she is caring for her child, or are caregiver benefits only for children caring for aging parents? Who would be a good source to even ask?
