Re-entry to complete started Social Security Application

Does anyone know how long the SS re-entry number is valid once you have saved and exited a started application for benefits, but have not finished it? Are you able to use the re-entry number for many months, or is there a time limit to go back in and complete the application?

    As long as it has not been submitted then it should remain open and you should be able to access it.
