I have seen new rules coming for Senior drivers or already in effect. Although I have not received anything from local DMV office. I saw something on Youtube

Wonder if this is true?

Check with the State you live in. Have you asked this question to your State AARP?

I live in Texas; I'm 76 and my license doesn't expire until April 2031. That's when I have to renew it.

Don't you find it a little suspicious that nowhere in that video do they quote the announcement, never mind link to it?

Or did you think to go to the Department of Transportation's website to find the announcement yourself?  If you did, you'd see there are no press releases about this.

Or you could check with good old Snopes, which addressed this last year:

    snopes.com/fact-check/us-drivers-rules-70-and-up/

Or, I don't know...click on the "author" of the youtube video and see the rest of their content--it's a clickbait extravaganza trading in scaring seniors.  Why would you believe ANYTHING it says?

    Come on, people.
