forex trading scam

i saw on facebook this lady name Sharon O Bradley helps people to trade in the forex market for a fee. i dm her through messenger. i signed up with her services and was told that i would be able to withdraw my money in 7 days. i was told to sin up on her trading site. where i could actually see my money trading and making money. in a few days i wanted to withdraw my profits only to be told that i have to pay 10% first of the profits to make a withdrawal. i had no control of the account because they opened the account. after much research. i discovered that this account was not opened with this lady and someone might have cloned her account on facebook and using her name to scam people. i need help to find these people so i can recover my money. Who do i report this to. also, anyone know this lady please let me know how to contact her to warn her of what is happening to her business reputation.

Yes, this thread is 3 years old and had activity "recent" activity from @WW393731 when AARP Sandy @sandy "transistioned" us to the NEW SET UP in August 2026. Back then WW's comment was 5 months old (now 7 months). This SCAM is still going on. I just did a Google Search, probably WHY Jeffrey @Jeffrey196 left a comment TODAY. Anyway, I hope this discussion is a WARNING to members about this scam. Claudene @ClaudeneW325959 , IF you are still "active" with AARP, were you able to get any help with this? Hopefully you did!!! True, but the Problem with digging up old posts is that sometimes people who posted them, might want them to die, and not be dredged up again. (A person recently came back to say they kept getting notified about a post that people kept replying to that was solved a long time ago.)

@SereneSeagull , I maybe wrong as usual, but I believe we can CONTROL what "notifications" we receive from the AARP Community Board. At least I can. In my "very humble" opinion, AARP is NOT going to pay their IT Dept to go back & clean out posts/threads when we want them to. AARP made the "decision" when all this "drama" with setting up this NEW SETUP (site from hell 😂) was happening August 2026 on what would stay & what would go bye bye. Anyway, it is what it is. 🙄

OK, now I see this thread is 3 years old! Why oh Why AARP are these old threads on here? So now I’ve tagged this person as well as the person who found this post a few hours ago and dug up this old thread. Can’t we get rid of these old posts… @sandy ?

Hello @ClaudeneW325959 , I’m sorry this happened to you. Obviously, I think you now understand you should only go to a reputable firm, and not just anyone on the internet. But that’s now a bridge that’s been crossed, so my advice would be to contact FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).

Here’s their website and the spot at which you can decide how to contact them. They can probably look up the original person that you thought you were dealing with, and maybe go from there, as well as possibly give you a direction.
