It is reported about 10,000 baby boomers retire daily.

Some of them want stay home where they are.

Some want to move to other place to enjoy their retirement.

Do you want retire and stay where you are?

Or do you want move to a community where you can make friends and share commen interests?

I’ve always wanted to live  in Washington State as my hearts always been there since I was little . My hubby and I are both born and raised in SoCal, but I can’t stand how expensive it is and how hot it’s gotten. Doesn’t look like it’s even in the cards however, as  the hubs and fam are alL planted here with no intention of leaving. I honestly don’t know how we’ll ever afford to retire here when the time comes.

Planning on moving to the Philippines in January because of the low cost. It's hot, no snow ever. On my small social security check and 401K it may be the pefect solution. Entertainment will consist of beaches, jet skiing, walking around and observing the people in different cities and towns. Of course the larger cites have movies, huge malls, cheap massages, etc. The healthcare is cheap but the best is found in private hospitals. Dental is extremely cheap. Anyway if the fun fizzles in a few years Thailand and Malaysia are nearby.

Been there, done that. They don't like US there. You may find it difficult in the cities. Traffic is so bad, it took 2 hours to go 2 miles. Extreme poverty alongside wealth, and a LOT of crime. No snow, but the typhoons will get you. Must like bugs, snakes, rats.

When I retire, either early or later, I would like to move to Montana. I lived there before, for 3 years and I loved it. I've been an over-the-road truck driver and driven through all 48 states. I've seen so many beautiful areas, but I believe Montana has the best.

I'll be turning 60 in 3.5 days(12/08) and looking forward to it.
