On March 20, 2024 Frontier.com transferred their webmail services to Yahoo.com. Although notice was given to their customers, they were unclear to many older users with limited computer skills. As a result many people have been unable to access their old @frontier.com mail (over 4 weeks now).Frontier says they can't help since it was all turned over to Yahoo. When they follow the instructions given by Frontier to login as usual (username@frontier.com) and use their usual password, they get an error message "unable to sign in, username/pwd don't match. They can create a new account with no problem but are unable to regain all their old (and mounting new) messages. To talk to a real person at Yahoo they have to pay for Yahoo's Premium Help ($50).The instructions from Yahoo only manage to set up another webmail account with no ties to the old Frontier account.Has anyone been able to get through this maze and successfully recover their Frontier account?

Government gives us a "raise" in Social Secuity but takes away more than the raise when canceling the ACP Wifi discount for low income families and seniors. Lifeline Program has not raised their minimum requirements since 2021. Now alot of seniors do not qualify. I need my wifi do to ill health and no car to go to doctor appointments. Buses are an option but then the weather is a factor. What to do??? Please! Anyone's help would be apprediated.

Cryptocurrency scams have become increasingly prevalent in the digital world, leaving countless individuals devastated and wondering if there is any hope for recovering their hard-earned funds. The rise of crypto scammers has sparked fear and mistrust within the community, but fear not! The first thing you should do when you realize you have been scammed is to stay calm. Panicking will only cloud your judgment and make it harder to take the necessary steps for recovery. Once you are composed, gather all the information related to the scam, such as transaction IDs, communication with the scammer, wallet that was used and any other evidence that may be useful. It is very important that you immediately cut off all contact with the scammer. In complex cases, consider seeking professional help from legitimate recovery experts who specialize in cryptocurrency scams or recovery firms that have experience dealing with these situations. However, delaying action could result in irreversible loss

Is there anybody within the AARP family that knows how and is willing to build a website and landing pages?
With AARP'S recent "updates" to their web site causing all sorts of issues, I am experiencing a change to the procedure of logging in. When I start filling in the "log in" screen, the "log in" image itself shifts from the right side of my computer screen to the left side of my computer screen. It does let you sign in, but the image shift is annoying. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?????

This past weekend was spent chasing down a sim card when I tried to enroll to Consumer Cellular.I was sold a promising plan by my phone inquiry and told I could expect a sim card to be sent via FedEx the next day. I had expressed interest in maintaining my original phone number and was told that all that would be necessary would be changing the Sim card. I was a member of Cricket and knew the dealer in my area who was always able to address my concerns and got the transfer number and account number to complete the transfer with Consumer Cellular. I suppose I made the mistake of notifying Consumer Cellular once I had the transfer data required as soon as I got the info, because when I gave the info to a Courtney with Consumer Cellular she proceeded to disconnect my active phone. My last words to her were to reply to her question if I had another phone. I expressed to her that my cricket phone was the only number I had. At that point our connection died and I could not call Consume
I hope this isn't inappropriate but I wanted to share with you my experience with Dell this past year. My discussion is lengthy so I will give a nutshell idea of my problem and if you are interested you can read the rest. In a nutshell I purchased a new Dell computer in February 2022. The computer was defective. Dell tried once to fix the computer but the attempt was not successful. When my year's warranty was up Dell closed my ongoing case. As a result Dell has my money and I have a malfunctioning Dell computer and Dell refuses to do anything more. They won't let me reopen the case because my warranty has expired. My only option now is to file a lawsuit. I wanted to warn you because if Dell did this to me they might do it to you. Now the legthy nuts and bolts of what happened A little over a year ago in February, 2022 I purchased a Dell XPS 8940 computer. It didn’t work properly. It typically took 4
Up until 2/6/23, I was getting my 150 AARP points for getting 5,000 steps or more on my FitBit. Now I have to call every day to get my points. I unlinked myFitBit and relinked it on AARP and that didn't help. I have my Bluetooth on. My FitBit is an Inspire 2 and I use an iphone. My software is up to date. When I "google" this, it appears this was a big problem with AARP in 2021, but I don't see anything recently. Any idea what I'm not getting my daily AARP points?
Hey community, It's been a while since I've been experiencing some persistent connectivity issues with my Linux system when trying to connect to a wireless network. Despite entering the correct credentials, the connection frequently drops, and I'm unable to browse or maintain a stable connection. I've tried troubleshooting by restarting the network service, updating drivers, and adjusting network settings, but the problem persists. Any guidance or insights from the community would be greatly appreciated. My system details are as follows: Linux distribution PenguinOS 4.2.1, wireless adapter FreedomLink 5000X. Thanks in advance for your assistance!
