I can see some usefulness to these AI apps but it is worrisome in many ways too.

Preservation of the experiences of Holocaust survivors seems a worthwhile application of the technology. Like with almost all technology, how it is used is at least as important as whether it is used.

...now if Facebook et. al. would just put the same effort and resources into AI bots to require and verify credible citations to support statements made via their media and remove content that fails.
